Thank you. Hope you’re doing ok too.

Not a ghost story as such but I’m really freaked this morning. The alarm on my phone went off at 05:50 (I freaked out further when I realised it’s the 5th of the 5th!)
I didn’t set it - the ring tone was the default alarm one and not the one I usually use. Plus I checked my alarms and there wasn’t one set for that time.
Don’t laugh but I’m jittery at the moment and I’m scared it’s a bad sign 😂
Would love to think it’s a message from a loved one but I can’t make those numbers fit with anyone.
So weird!
In brief regarding your question. She's on about Angel numbers and how to Google them.

Not a ghost story as such, just a weird thing that happened. A few days ago, first thing in the morning, my husband opened the press and took out his jar of vitamin tablets to get his dose for the day. He had bought them 2 days before, so had taken 2. When he opened the jar.... it was empty! We were the only ones at home those days, and neither of us sleep walks, so it sure was perplexing. Later I was doing some artwork - pen and ink to be precise, and when I went to put the cap back on the pen it had disappeared into thin air. I was heading out so just improvised with a biro lid. When I returned home later, there, sitting bang in the middle of my drawing, was the pen cap! It was so weird because there was no-one home to have found the lid and put it teasingly in the middle of my drawing. It all felt creepy. Perhaps we have a poltergeist 😒

Okay so I think I’ve asked this before BUT..
Does anyone think if you listen to podcasts about true ghost stories and read into them a lot etc that it can attract that kind of stuff?

My mum always always said don’t talk about these things aka paranormal stuff because you’ll bring it into the house. Whether it’s psychological or something more woo woo I get it.

My mum was the same, and warned me away from ouija boards! Never tried one before, I’m tempted but I wouldn’t dare!

This isn't a ghost story as such but I just wanted to voice it... It could be a huge coincidence.
But...
My FIL recently died due to Alzheimer's. Horrible horrible condition but I digress.
The official flower of the Alzheimer's soc is forget me nots. Since he died, I'm seeing forget me nots everywhere.
We have a small wildflower patch on our back garden and we've just put a few things in there to remind my boyfriend of his dad. Yesterday, I noticed some beautiful white forget me nots in the wildflower patch that have literally just bloomed. We've never had them flower there before, ever.
We've never had forget me nots in the garden before, this year was going to be the first year we planted them and none of the seed packets I have contained forget me nots as I checked.
I'm so aware it could be a massive coincidence but I really hope it isn't.
It’s a sign. Forget-me-Nots are a delightful spring flower and I grow hundreds in my garden each year. They are setting seed round about now onwards, so collect the seed and scatter some more. They germinate easily and next year you will have lots more.

They sell them in the boardgame section in the US. I’ve seen them in toy section of TJ maxx (TK Maxx in the UK) and they just freak me out. They’re not toys! Toys are fun, these are just conduits of destruction and despair.

I’ve always been surrounded by the paranormal since I can remember (my mum could talk to spirits and so can me and my sister) so to have them as a game just baffles me.

At the end of 2023 I had a dream that my mum had lung cancer. Vivid. As if I was there whilst she was getting her diagnosis. I rang her (she lives in the UK and I live in the US) to ask her and. She said don’t be daft! (Proper northern lass) and for me not to worry. She then told me Valentine’s Day 2024 she had stage 4 lung cancer. I dropped. All I could say was I knew it.

She underwent chemotherapy but it didn’t work. She passed May 17th. The day before I spoke to her, she was happy and smiling. She was telling me how excited she was to watch an archaeology show on channel 5 and that her friend in the hospital was going to watch it too. Drs said to come but she should be fine for a few months. I told her that if she felt too tired to wait for me, for her to go. I didn’t want her in pain. I knew she’d come back and see me so it wasn’t “the end.”

I was on the flight to get to the UK on the 16th and at 9pm I experienced turbulence on the flight. I’ve never felt anything like it. Turns out she passed at 2am on the 17th. I got to the airport with my sister trying not to tell me, she didn’t want me to cry. But her face told me and I already knew deep down. My amazing mum had gone and I feel that the turbulence was her way to let me know.

I’ve got so many stories from myself, as well as my sister and mum. Even my brother who tries to keep away from it as “it’s creepy as fook” lol.

Wow! This is amazing. If you're able and feel comfortable, I would love to hear more.

not sure if we got another sign today. An important anniversary for my FIL. I've taken my friends dog for a walk around my house. There's a small wood that we always walk our dogs in and I know there is so much wildlife in here including deer but I've never seen one.
Today, of all days, as I come to the entrance of the wood, there is a deer stood right there. Literally next to the road. It spots us, waits and then runs off.
Probably a coincidence but I was just thinking about my FIL when it happened
I believe that you were meant to see that deer and it’s a message. Always gives me goosebumps when I read things like this.

I saw it twice on my walk. I've never seen a deer in there and ive lived here for 2 years. Seems like an awful big coincidence if that's what it is 😬❤

Been going through a tough time lately and asked out loud for a sign. Less than 30 seconds later a wee white feather floated down right in front of me 😭 I'll take that as my sign then 🤣

Bit of a backstory needed for this one: so when my mum was little, she and her family lived in a flat in an old house. They moved out when my mum was about 6 years old (late 1960s). This house still exists and is currently used as a shelter for asylum seekers.
As you can imagine by now it's a VERY old house and probably rat infested etc. So no idea if those are the source of the noises or if it's really something else.
You see, my uncle, mum‘s older brother died there in 1961. And one of the people who now lives in said flat swears he hears noises at night and is convinced the flat is haunted!
My uncle had seizures and died because of one. My grandma always said those seizures started after my grandpa threw my uncle at a wall when he was a baby because he wouldn’t stop crying 😭 Not sure if that's medically possible but I was thinking what if that's true and my uncle can’t find peace because he knows why he died? Could that be possible?

I try to think rationally about this stuff, like telling myself just because I’ve read about it doesn’t mean it’s going to happen but it’s hard! I love a ghost story, I love true crime. My husband works away a lot and without fail every time he goes away I immediately worry I’ll be the next target for some criminal or a ghost is going to appear in my living room 😂 it’s not even that I don’t like my own company, I absolutely love it, but decide when I am on my own that is when I am going to be haunted 😂

I think it comes from my mum being a kid and trying the ouija board with her mates. She don’t ever tell me the full story I think because it shat her up so much.
She did say that when they ‘played’ it a pair of heavy floor length velvet curtains opened and lifted up.
she never divulged anything else. She was genuinely too scared.
I knew never to ask her about it and I have the fear in me to never ever play with that tit

Longish post, sorry.
I had a weird experience yesterday...I just sold my late parents' house, my mum was spooky, as am I and my sons. My youngest boy and I were talking about her in the car, got home and switched the car off, the radio stayed on (car locked).
"Haha granny's sending us a message". Big pause and a different song came on then stopped abruptly.
Later I was scrolling on a YouTube cooking page that I follw and a random US pastor appeared down the page...same name (first and surname) as my mum!

I watched an Uncanny programme a few months ago - the one about the haunted farmhouse and the convent orphanage nearby. It preyed on my mind terribly and unsettled me. Anyway about 6 o clock the following morning I could her my OH watching TV downstairs really loudly which was strange. So loud it woke me up. He had slept in the spare room as I hadn't been well, so I hadn't heard him get up. He then came in to my room and asked why I'd left the TV blaring and had then gone back to bed as it had woken him up. But it had turned itself on.
Maybe there was a logical explanation. But I felt really spooked and really thought it was because of how strange the programme had made me feel - but maybe I just thought that because of the programme - sort of self fulfilling prophecy. I don't know.
Anyway it hasn't happened since thank goodness.

I find myself freaking out over the slightest thing if I've been reading about scary stuff. Like sometimes my dogs will just stare at something - a random corner of the room or a clearing in the forest - and if it's a normal day I'll just assume they saw a spider or a rabbit etc. If I'm already freaked out, I'll obviously assume they're trying to save me from an army of ghosts and/or murderers.
