@Chocolategoggler I dont want to quote as your post is long but thank you so much for this! It's approaching my dads 1st anniversary. I was hoping for a sign but, nothing apart from 1 dream a few days after he passed. AI images of angels kept popping up on my recommended on Insta/YouTube after he died, and the words "do not be afraid" (my parents were religious). I didn't connect the dots at the time. This morning I read your post when I got up. As I walked into the gym Halo came on the radio! 😇

I'm so oblivious I have to be smacked in the face with signs 😁. So I definitely wasn't able to miss all the white feathers!
I remember now being told by a psychic that I'll notice things being repeated. She gave an example of seeing anchors and Slip anchor winning the Epsom Derby.
I definitely noticed a recurring sign in the last few months - rats - and guess what happened 😩🥴🙄

I was reading stories about ouija boards a few days ago. If anyone has done one, what made you do it? Did anything happen?
I’m too scared to ever do one just in case 😅

I haven't personally, but my dad did in the 70s and apparently he started speaking in a voice that wasn't his own and predicted an accident...

I was listening to this the other day from my saved to be listened to's. There was a mention of ouija board problem when she went to do a client reading which was interesting.

My Mum used to do them. This was before I was born and she would get her friends over most weeks and they would do it much to my Dad's disapproval. It always amazed me she did as she was very religious.

It all stopped after one particular session where one of her friends started acting very strangely and talking weirdly and they could get her out of it. Totally freaked them out and my Mum never did anything like it again.

Thank you for your replies! It’s a really interesting subject I’ve never heard any ‘positive’ experiences about them

Nor me. When I was a kid some of my mates were doing a makeshift board in the locker room each lunchtime. I can remember one day they wanted me to join in and I wouldn’t, so they asked me just to keep my finger on the glass to keep the circle while one of them went for a wee. I didn’t like it and left ASAP. Anyway, one day they all ran out if there having got really spooked. One of them said they had strange bangs and voices at home for weeks. They all wore crosses for weeks as well.
That was the end of the board sessions. Oh and the head of RE got to hear about it, came into our class and gave us all an absolute bollocking as we wouldn’t grass up who’d been doing it.

As much as I love hearing about ghosts, hauntings, weird experiences etc etc there is no way I'm actively going looking for trouble and contact with the other side. :ROFLMAO:

Today is the anniversary of my Dad’s death. A soft white feather appeared in my garden today and I would like to think it is a sign from him. I miss him so much. 🥰

I would avoid them. You are only inviting the spirit world into your life and good spirits are harmless, but nobody wants to be plagued by a nasty one.

As a kid, we did makeshift ouija boards using a piece of paper and a glass. But there was always someone who would deliberately move the glass and feign innocence. Thankfully I got that trend out of my system. 🤣

Same 😂 it’s why I’ve always said I won’t do a ouija board…too scared 😂
I worked with a lady who was part of some kind of group and told me that one day they did ouija and failed to close the circle, she said she went home laid on the sofa and was possessed. It was one of those "erm ok" moments but as others have said I would never mess.

My mum did one in her friends basement when they were kids. They were all accusing the other of moving the pointer which no one admitted to..then the basement door slammed shut.

She said it could have just been a coincidence but she's never done one again to find out 😅

Mine isn't a ghost story as such, just a strange occurance. Quite a few years ago now, my Grandad passed away after a prolonged battle with various conditions. He was my ultimate hero and it is thanks to him, I am the man I am today. He was in and out of hospital a lot, always on a particular ward, with a long distinctive corridoor you had to walk down to get there. Fast forward a couple of years and I was making my way home from a party, I was in a pretty rough state, you'd have literally been able to knock me over with a feather. Anyway, a group of lads must have seen the state I was in and tried to take advantage and rob me, I tried to fight back but in the state I was in, I was never going to be able to cope with them all. Next I was hit by a bottle and that's all I remember from there (I was rushed to hospital, but wouldn't be aware until much later). Then my Grandad appeared on this hospital corridoor standing close to me, saying my name with his hands raised out towards me saying "not yet". Thing was, he was getting further and further away from me and I kept shouting for him as he disappeared, getting more and more agitated. as I missed him dearly. Next I finally wake up to my missus sitting next to me, I was that out of it I asked what she was doing there, as I thought she was out with friends (I thought we were at home in our bed). When I fully came around, she told me the nurses had been asking her about my Grandad and if he is able to come down. I asked her why, and she said the nurses told her, when I was uncontious, I was screaming for my Grandad, and was getting more and more upset. I then told her that I thought he came to me, but wasn't sure why until I fully came around. To this day, I don't know if I was dreaming due to the head trauma, and still mourning the loss of my Grandad. Or if this actually happened, I'd like to think the latter as he adored and lived for his Grandkids. My head looked like Joseph Merrick when I finally got home, but I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. I felt a sense of contentment and serenity, as though he'd shown me he'll always be around.

I don't know what to make of this so please forgive me whilst I ramble.
My Father in law died last Friday. It was expected but is still so damn horrible.
He was an avid mountain biker and every day since he died the weather has been beautiful mountain biking weather. Probably a coincidence.
But today, we went for a walk at a country park. Turned the corner and David Bowie was playing full blast who was my FIL favourite artist.
Wouldn't think anything of it but I asked him last night to send a sign that he was OK.
My boyfriend brushed it off as us "looking for signs" and it probably was a huge coincidence but we've walked that trail so many times, passed the park run event so many times and never have the organisers been playing 80s/90s music.
I believe in signs. X
