I can't find it, but it could perhaps be an article behind a paywall, there's a couple that I can't access, yet I know I read maybe 2 or 3 articles about this in the past week. It stuck with me because I thought of it as either disingenous or not fully owning up to the issue. Jesus, I would have considered myself a heavy drinker in my 20s and had a few scary moments with blackouts etc but never did I think I was an alcoholic, or monetise my experiences by labelling myself so. Maybe it's an Irish vision of alcoholism, sometime I nearly laugh when I read about a US actor/actress/tv pesonalites who labels themselves alcoholics when it seems they barely drink. I suppose everyones experience is subjective.

I'm sure it is, I'd safely say if something is worth selling then it's carefully unboxed when the kids aren't there. With the amount free stuff sent it's hardly surprising.

In a recent article sophie writes about her alcoholism. Her new book is about her struggles with alcohol while having small children. I think the book is called corpse. So I think she is a recovered alcoholic.

Did she separate from the husband? She has moved to what looks like a much smaller house and putting up how tough the last year has been?

You would think so. But some of the posters on it didn't see it that way at all. It doesn't help that she didn't clearly state that it should be a deterrent and instead said that herself and Mini were "mesmerized" by it.

I can find her fine. She may have gone offline herself for a while? She got a lot of pushback for that post she shared. Although I understood it straightaway, a hell of a lot of posters thought it was awful, a really bad message to send out. I can see where they're coming from as she is very open to treatments and getting botox etc and the fact that she captioned the post by saying herself and Mini were "mesmerised" by the creative genius of it - which could easily be misinterpreted. Then again, perhaps she did that deliberately to provoke a reaction.
