I like his vlogs but hate the way he puts the emphasis on the wrong word or syllable - once you notice it, you can never not notice it!

Ooh glad I came across a thread for Will. I watch some of his YT videos and often wonder how he affords it all. He strikes me as coming from money and I'm sure his parents funded a lot of them (especially in the early days). The way he always has caviar and champagne just comes off quite pretentious. His videos are often done well (if you excuse some of the dodgy selfie stick and drone footage) and he gives a lot of information. I'd like him to do something on a budget rather than First Class all the time.
His channel has earned a lot of ad revenue so it's likely he can afford to pay it all himself these days.
But I agree about coming from money, he lives near Poole/Sandbanks and quite possibly had help early on. Or his employer at the time was paying and he was on business trips.
He's always been a bit sketchy as there was the Trek Trendy website that wasn't clear what it offered (was it a travel agent, group tours etc). Then there's the luxury travel agency he says he uses, but isn't sponsored by. Do they give him discounted/cost rates? Does he get some freebies?
His morals have always been a bit questionable too, and he loves to have that 'I'm just a humble nice guy' image front and centre. But that's a red flag in itself.

Oh, no doubt he makes a lot of money now. I wonder how much odoo have paid to push their platform out in nearly every video he does.
Just watching his last video (Miami to Alaska sleeper train) and his monotone voice becomes irritating. He talks to his dad/mum/girlfriend like they're children. I actually enjoy seeing his dad, I think he's more camera friendly than Will is.

I always wonder how TrekTrendy/Will pays for all this stuff. It's wild seeing all of the expensive, insane things he films but I do think it is sweet he often brings his parents. We had a trip planned with my mom, but she passed away before we could go. I think it's super important to have that t ime with your folks.

Just watched Trek Trendys new train offering and its dull AF! Not watched him for months so decided to give it a go. I can confirm this one trick pony is one of the most boring guys on YouTube!!! He has taken his dad along for this borefest! Sipping 'Dom' and behaving like a spoilt child, his disturbing smugness and old before his time behavoir is a complete turn off for me. He really needs to change his content and stop thinking he is some kind of royalty. His obsession with everything "Nasa' is very weird and who on earth pindls a badge to their lapel of their suit jacket to go to dinner???? Its clear he was born in to money and dosnt know what the real world is all about.
I agree, although he also doesn't quite fit in the luxury world either. The NASA stuff is cringe and just a gimmick at this point, but like you say, who pins a brand badge on for dinner. Especially in a luxury environment.

He should have it down by now, and also be able to film economically so he doesn't waste time. I can only assume it takes him that long because he doesn't actually sit down and edit for long periods, like a full time job. But just does it when he feels like it in-between all his trips.

I fell asleep watching the vlog and woke up to his next offering, wheeling his mum round a cruiseship in a wheelchair? Not sure what has happened to her? Anyway , yet again the same content. I would love to see him do 'a day I the life' video to see what his normal life is like back home. I also can't believe what his girlfriend sees in him as he is so dull? She must be just as boring I guess.
