His channel has earned a lot of ad revenue so it's likely he can afford to pay it all himself these days.

But I agree about coming from money, he lives near Poole/Sandbanks and quite possibly had help early on. Or his employer at the time was paying and he was on business trips.

He's always been a bit sketchy as there was the Trek Trendy website that wasn't clear what it offered (was it a travel agent, group tours etc). Then there's the luxury travel agency he says he uses, but isn't sponsored by. Do they give him discounted/cost rates? Does he get some freebies?

His morals have always been a bit questionable too, and he loves to have that 'I'm just a humble nice guy' image front and centre. But that's a red flag in itself.

Oh, no doubt he makes a lot of money now. I wonder how much odoo have paid to push their platform out in nearly every video he does.

Just watching his last video (Miami to Alaska sleeper train) and his monotone voice becomes irritating. He talks to his dad/mum/girlfriend like they're children. I actually enjoy seeing his dad, I think he's more camera friendly than Will is.

Anyone got any suggestions for travel/ aviation YouTubers? My favourite at the moment is the flip flop traveller.

If aviation as a whole is also an interest, Speedtape Films is also a channel I’d recommend highly. They‘re Pilots that specialize in things called ferry flights which is pretty self explanatory (Getting planes from point a to point b) with super high production values for what they do.

Yes, it's certainly an odd relationship! The way he gets in bed at night also makes me cringe, the quick edit of him getting in his PJs is so bad, nearly as bad as slipping off the Timbs!

Also the awkward shower shots. Why do so many vloggers think we want to see them in the shower. Unless you're hot I have zero interest

Yet another luxury cruise, this time from the Canary Islands to Barcelona with Dad.

I have SponsorBlock so I don’t see the ads in full but have they always been so…surreal? Saw about 10 seconds with his Dad wearing a sailors hat and Will going “Captain, have you ever built a website before?” before it skipped. I know YouTubers have to get creative with ads to keep eyeballs on them but what was that?

His cruise videos are rubbish as he doesn't show the cruise, just the ship.

That was awful and so cringe , I don't know what he was thinking! I think it showed he is not good or creative with entertainment type vlogging.

I like his vlogs but hate the way he puts the emphasis on the wrong word or syllable - once you notice it, you can never not notice it!

Yeah he lives in Dorset near Bournemouth, and if it is sandbanks that's one of the most expensive places to live not just in the UK, but the world.

I wondered if it was IT. It would allow remote work and be well paid.

His channel name doesn't really make sense either. I swear he used to have a website and it looked like some sort of travel company or something.

I agree his content is all very samey to others. And some (downielive) do it better than him. I don't quite understand why youtube favours him so much.
