The whole point I was making was the example of Tracy being a wanna be...grew up in Jersey suburb, moved to the least NYC borough and claims she's a New Yorker. Nah.
The whole filter and photoshop thing is so strange to me. I have used a skin smoothing app a few times and it was alright but I prefer the way I look without it. I’ve used basic Instagram filters as well. But anything much beyond that seems so fake to me... like you’re trying to transform into your idea of perfect. Which is so sad because then you look in th mirror and see the truth. Before big T I didn’t even know people (other then a professional photographer) edited their bodies so extremely!! It’s a sickness. I bet Skylar will be using her own Instagram by the time she’s 8 and Trashbag’s first lesson will be teaching her how to chop off the large and filter herself into oblivion. Rather than teaching her something useful like how to bake cookies or a simple meal.

I think the whole NY NJ thing has alot to do with what part of the state people are situated in. People north of Trenton associate more with New York. Such as their sports teams and when they go to the city they go to New York. People from south of Trenton associate more with Philadelphia for the same reasons I said about people north of Trenton. It's all understandable because NJ doesn't really have sports teams except for hockey I think and NJ doesn't have any big metropolitan cities so people go to the closest one when they want to go into the city for restaurants and nightlife. So of course people are going to associate themselves with people that are in those cities.
So I do understand her associating herself with NY because she did live there for a good chunk of her adult life and she is from north of Trenton. That being said I think she's always been obsessed with the image of being from NY before she even moved there because she's a special kind of weirdo like we all know. People like her get obsessed with living in the stereotype image like the whole Jersey image. Not everyone from Jersey acted, dressed or styled themselves the way she did and not everyone from NY has the mobster tough guy image like she portrays now.
Hope that makes sense. Not sticking up for that nut just trying to help settle the little beef here plus explain to anyone not from these areas.
