What’s ridiculous is him telling Alice she can do the syndicate original orders from his and Lydia’s home because there’s no room at the office. Surely having all of that going on, ontop of house renovations while Lydia is pretty much due would be the most stressful thing for her? Like being surrounded by all of that in the comfort of your home would feel so unsettling and not comfortable to be having a new born around?

If you claim that there's no room at your current business location then you need a bigger place and if you need a bigger place then you're clearly taking it in. Honestly it looks like they haven't had anything picked up.
