I truly feel that he is the kind of person that is capable of doing this, he's shown time and time again he only cares about himself and that makes me feel that these girls are telling the truth. They don't have much to gain in doing this, as his own clout has dropped dramatically since the events happened.

His Mum replied to a tweet about Kait not being able to shed tears while getting emotional in her video with the handclap emoji, not sure if she's agreeing with it or being sarcastic -

He got off lightly with the gambling drama although this is a lot more serious. He is well liked in the gaming community so I think he’ll manage to come out of it.

This makes my heart hurt for both of them. More so Kate, I watched a lot of her when I was younger because of her association with him. It's unfortunate but I'm not at all surprised. I hope tit hits the fan for him but knowing him, nothing more than this will come of it.

Have you seen all the hate the girls are getting? It saddens me that the majority are saying it was so long ago it's not true. They seem blinkered and forgetting cases like Epstein, Saville, Alec Salmond, the priests and many others before, victims of abuse can take years to speak out and sometimes it takes 1 to talk and others find strength to speak out. Obviously some do lie but the automatic assumption it can't be true because he vlogs daily is naive. The vlogs only show highlights not his whole private life.

Honestly, this thread is the first time I'm seeing ANYTHING on this! I don't have twitter so I had no idea any of this is going on. I wonder what his friend/streaming partner Jordan/captainsparklez will think or say. Seems like one of his most stand up friends but then again, I never watched a second of his actual videos outside of the old minecraft streams. I'm watching Kate's videos on twitter now and I'm just shattered. I watched those "london" videos brand new, when she went to visit him and when he was in LA with her.

There are a few YouTube drama and gaming channels talking about it all too. It was trending most of the day too.
I remember when things were said about Sjin and Turps from yogscast they left the community for a while, released from contracts and went quiet for a few months.

Tom certainly had a birthday to remember this year although the neighbours have likely missed out on the fireworks.

He's the only "gaming" channel I have on my subs these days but I haven't even been on youtube....which is out of the ordinary for me, I practically live on it lol. It's even my tv provider. I did do some research prior to going to bed last night though. The hate that those two girls are getting is absolutely disgusting. People saying Kate is a fraud because she's not crying, really? That's a pretty traumatic experience if it happened. Who are they do dismiss it like that? I can't even imagine being on their end of this. Imagine not being believed because some douchbag got lucky with success playing video games. The way he talks to people on camera, thinking back at the way he jokes about grape in general....I just can not weigh on the innocent side with him.

I'm not accusing him, I'm just saying that I wouldn't put it past him based off his track record of grape jokes and assholish behavior over the many many years of his online presence alone. I'm also not about to dismiss women coming out about such horrible experiences.

I don’t think the issue is Kate ‘not’ crying, it’s more that she was just coming across as fake crying. But she doesn’t deserve to be attacked like she is being. Equally, neither does Tom at this stage, as another poster said what about innocent until proven guilty? Personally I found Kate’s videos difficult to watch because of the way she was. It’s a very uncomfortable topic and I get that, but the fake crying was discrediting what she was trying to say.

It's hard to say it's fake crying. When discussing emotional trauma it is possible no tears will fall. Tears automatically evoke sadness and sympathy because that's what people expect but not everyone will release tears when upset.

It's the way people are jumping on the girls and going at them that upsets me. Parts of Kate story seem like issues growing up and other parts sound awful. Equally today I've seen more "rapist rum" posts towards Tom which isn't acceptable either. It will be interesting what he says in his statement.

I don't think it was fake crying. As someone who went through MAD trauma as a young child, something like that doesn't always mean you have tears to cry. I personally went through that myself but not on the grounds of grape of course. Different trauma. It was also mentioned earlier in the thread, yesterday or the day before I believe. The only thing discrediting is the fact that it took several years for this stuff to come out with little or no evidence to back it up (that anyone knows of with things being so new and fresh).
grape is an weird and horrendous accusation and I'm very curious of his response to it as well as his reactions.

I remember watching a video of hers and she explained her rough life growing up. Lots of bullying, outcast, etc.

Actually shocked to read what’s happened.
I’ve no comment on whether he’s innocent or not, his statement is correct that it’s not for the public to decide.

his fans going on about how well written is statement is though... as if he actually wrote it.
Would 100% have been a lawyer or PR company and looks like possibly an American one at that with the spelling of apologize, with the American Z instead of S

Yes, legal or PR definitely wrote that but most likely based off of anything he said. They just made it more readable and likable to readers. This would be done with anyone of his status assuming they have the money obviously. gotta make him look his best. I would love to know what suddenly sparked this to happen. Like..if this is all fake, why now after X amt of years? Probs a simple answer of money seeing as he is doing well for himself. I would hope that he isn't a rapist of course because...that would be severely ducked up but it's pretty ducked up if we got two frauds on the social media run. Surely it will destroy both women (if this is all found to be BS).
