No, everyone needs to do more research for themselves and actually question why they are pushing so hard on this. The vaccine will change your dna... If that doesn't scare you?!

That's not true. That rumour started on Twitter by some knob who works for Trump in the White House.

I'll be getting it, don't have any qualms about it either. I travel a lot for work and a lot of countries will be making it mandatory, like Yellow Fever.

Yes I will

Sick of all of the vaccine experts on Facebook, mainly my colleagues who think they know it all 🙄

So, I'm in the medical profession (when I'm not pregnant) absolutely no way will I be having it..
Call me a conspiracy theorist, nothing about this rings true. I don't know what the endgame is here, but I'm staying safe in my own way.

I’m normally someone who’s all for vaccinations and anti-vaxers really wind me up..however, I personally really don’t think there’s enough research into the future side effects of the vaccine. Yes I agree that the vaccine will probably work, but in the long term we don’t know how it will impact people. As I’m only young I’m worried that what if I get this vaccination and then it turns out in 10 years time I want to try for a baby and I’m infertile due to complications of the vaccine..I’m sorry but I don’t want to be a Guinea Pig..I think I’ll sit this vaccine out 😬😬

It honestly scares me that they push this on us and are already taking our freedom away. People are happy to carry on for an easy life but where does it end? Yes the theories can sound crazy but it's all little steps that lead that way.
We don't need a vaccine for a virus that hat over 99% servival rate.

This is a genuine question, not trying to cause an argument at all, but for those of you saying no you won’t get it, does it concern you that you are effectively removing your right to travel as it sounds like it will become a prerequisite.

The reasons why I will take a vaccine if offered:

- I trust science.
- I don’t want covid ideally, though I am very low risk.

This is THE ONE vaccine the had ALL the resources thrown at it. Initially, I was reluctant to take it up but having read up on the science behind the production and being a frontline worker exposed to the virus daily I want to take it ASAP. Having seen first hand what this horrible virus does to people, I’d rather take my chances with a vaccine than the inevitable which is that I will get this. Anyone who won’t go for the vaccine is...... 🤷‍♀️ Well, Hopefully doing something so worthwhile for humanity that they feel they are above being a part of this.

I would rather wait until the vaccine has been tried and tested, and not have any unpleasant side effects. I have other reasons not to have one, but they lapse into conspiracy theory territory.
IT HAS BEEN TRIED AND TESTED THOUGH !!

I feel totally fine and confident about taking it, and I used to be very anti-vaxx and totally bought into the hysteria and misinformation. I’ve learned so
much since then about credible sources of information. For this particular vaccine, there is very sound and convincing information online about how it works, the safety of the trials and why it isn’t actually “rushed”. Would definitely recommend someone like @jessicamalatyrivera as account to follow on Instagram for daily questions on covid, the vaccine and testing to help put your mind at ease. The incredible work that has gone into studying this virus and developing the vaccines should be massively celebrated, and it’s incredibly frustrating to see armchair experts dismiss it.

I won’t be heading out to get it anytime soon!
mum not anti vax at all, my son who is 1 is vaccinated. However, I haven’t been particularly careful since covid started doing the rounds. Just washing my hands as normal. No gloves, no hand sanitizer, no wiping my trolley at Tesco, my son is at nursery, my hubby a pilot- working throughout and I’ve been seeing my family who are also relaxed yet sensible.
I won’t be taking a vaccination with a less than 90% success rate when my odds of surviving the virus (should I catch it) are over 99% for my age.
Without knowing of any adverse long term effects I won’t have it. This virus will go away soon enough, if you look at historical charts if every outbreak they have always followed the same patterns.
There has also been many studies showing that asymptotic people rarely spread the virus.

I would take it and I would recommend getting information from trusted sources. It will not change your DNA.
And where are the trusted sources? Because if you look into who's putting out the information and who funds them then you might question it...
Nothing about the whole covid 19 adds up

My point is, just because you question, and have scepticism, does not automatically render you a 'conspiracy theorist'.
In 1955, a faulty polio vaccine caused 40,000 cases of child polio and 10 deaths.
In the early 1960's, thousands of women gave birth to terribly deformed babies, due to Thalidomide.
We have no vaccine for the common cold, bird flu, swine flu etc. yet conveniently, within a few months, a vaccine for covid 19 is developed.
Trusting scientists is all very well, but the Barrington Declaration was signed by 8,000 scientists with opposing views.
The public has been subjected to months of relentless fear porn by a media that should have presented both sides, and bizarre government restrictions, with the result that a vast number of people will now sign up for anything that apparently restores their freedoms.

I'm happy to take vaccines generally, but this is so fast and new, I wouldnt want to be on the first few runs of this one.

I’ll be taking it.

I can’t wait to get travelling again. It’s a must.

People absolutely have the right to refuse vaccination but companies also have the right to refuse to serve those who don’t have a valid vaccination status. So if people are refusing to take it then they have no right to kick up fuss when airlines and other services refuse their business 🤷🏻‍♀️ No-one is making them have the vaccine but they may miss out on things going forward. Or have choices limited.

I am also in the medical profession and WILL be having the vaccine. Please don’t use your profession as a way of adding authority to your opinion

I believe in our best scientists. Specifically, I believe that the principal scientists in each case & the many regulators who permit a vaccine's release to market have thought approximately 1,000 times harder about any question members of the public will raise in forums such as this. Questions like 'what are the long term' effects - we may not have this exact vaccine, but our methods have advanced such that we can be very confident combining inert component X with the virus-specific component Y will not have any major unintended effects.

What makes any individual think we know better than experts?

In terms of testing it's not been rushed. The only thing has been all the paperwork and red tape has been removed.

Also in terms of data the figures are pretty impressive. I am a science geek but I am amazed by what can be achieved when there's unlimited funding etc.
