For me one simple thing - parkrun. We run 5k each week and this makes me happy for the next 6 days. I died the first few times, I thought I couldn't run this far or for that long, but I did it. Push yourself physically to run 5k once a week!

My self esteem and confidence really evolved to another level. ❤

Hi All, since Covid really, I've really struggled with my self esteem to the point that it impacts my life and the person I once was. I'm sure I'm not the only person with low confidence, whether that is through personality, insecurities or Covid so I thought this might be a good place to chat about, share our thoughts and top confidence tips.

Hopefully we can build a supportive and helpful thread...

Edit to add my first helpful tip. I am currently reading The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem and it's a great read. I really see myself in the book and it was a real eye-opener for me!

It’s cheesy as duck, but a tip that works for me is to treat myself like I would my best friend. I’d never put her down, I’d be telling her how great she is/looks and support and bolster her with the things I say instead of thinking how crap I am. So be your own best friend.

I don't know if this is gonna be helpful, but I always think confidence isn't permission. I'm entitled to do things even if I'm not confident.
