Had a really interesting sift through The Larters’ YouTube before and there’s a video from late July where Emilie and Josh say they basically broke up and things aren’t working but they’re trying to get through it with therapy.
The body language in the video is very telling though; she seems to be yearning for touch and affirmations from him and he’s sitting there a bit like an emotionless statue.
They say their main issues are cultural differences and communication, but imo it doesn’t seem to be any better throughout the video

I hope her time in the UK is helping her to seriously reconsider the position she’s putting herself and Adam in.

So it's Leanne's 30th birthday party today- good all week we have heard about her turning 30!! 🥱🥱

Did anyone see she posted what he eats (she does this often) but she gave him a snack plate that had 4 huge choc waffles on plus lots of other bits? How can she not see that his diet is just outrageous? It's great he has a good appetite (my 7 year old eats like a baby bird lol) but I'm always shocked to see how much she feeds him. I also would love to know how someone who doesn't work can also afford to just walk into Smyths toys and throw whatever she wants into the trolley!!

To be fair I was getting quite bored of her constantly moaning about being a working mum, wanting another baby and not being able to afford it. She’s always wearing new adanola, just moved to a massive new build, booking holidays and having Botox/filler and using expensive skincare. I feel like she is just SO negative

I think this about a lot of parents on TikTok whose account is for them and this child (who is disabled in some way or other). It’s quite uncomfortable to view them when they come across your feed and I always think ‘how has your child consented to being filmed in this way’ especially as the videos and the page is dedicated to how difficult life is. There’s a dad who popped up and they went for a meal with their son and how it was almost a normal family meal as their son ate some of the food and enjoyed the entertainment while on holiday. Does their son not deserve privacy though? If they are someone who can’t handle too much stimulation then how is having a phone or being filmed constantly not adding to this?

If I found out my mum had an entire channel devoted to how hard it was to raise me, purportedly in the interest of 'raising awareness', I would be devastated. Not to mention the amount of creeps online you're exposing images of your child to!

The Larters are fascinating, they need their own thread. I am really worried for this woman and I fear she’s being exploited. Deciding to adopt 3 kids from Uganda and date a man who doesn’t work when he does can only make £70 a month when you have no resources isn’t a smart decision. I think she should cut her losses and take Adam home to England. Just 20 mins ago she posted a video saying a “friend” drove her new car without permission and crashed it and now it’s been written off and she needs £5000 for a new car! Adam’s grandparents will be missing him. Her boyfriend is not what he says he is, she should go home!

I just came on the post about the car. Frost the missing dogs, now this. What went from subtle requests for money is now outright begging. They are completely taking advantage of this woman, she seems like she has a kind heart but she's being taken for a ride and just needs to bring Adam home to the UK. It can't end well if she stays in Uganda.

Aimee is just absolutely ridiculous now. She first popped up on my FYP about a week into being homeless and I genuinely felt for her. Now she seems to be thriving on the attention and freebies. If my mum had thrown me and my baby onto the streets and I was the sole parent I wouldn't be smiling through haul after haul. She could be keeping any mental health struggles off tiktok but she videos everything so surely the fall out was made to boost her housing chances like others have said.

It’s the fact she’s doing these huge hauls from b&m etc. I work 40 hours a week as a single mum and could never afford to just pop to home bargains and buy what I wanted! She’s such a beg!
