The only one I’ve had the misfortune to attend most people sat off placing bets on how long the couple would last and talking about how tacky it all was, people only have them to post about it on social media!
Spoiler, they split before the baby arrived.

We're getting actual 'cancer reveals' on sm now. A former Disney channel star has done one.

I'm sorry, I cannot see how anyone will process their diagnosis better by filming themselves crying into their phone.

This world has become bizarre beyond all recognition to me.

It's all AI and dropshippers now. I used to love getting people handmade gifts from there but now I don't know what's a scam and what isn't so I don't bother. They should ban AI and dropshippers!
What are dropshippers? Companies like Shein and Temu?

Is anyone else's feed just full of people having ' grey blending ' done on their hair, I found it quite a liberating thing to watch at first but now I can't open FB without intense looking hairdressers having a smell the fart moment, like they about to perform surgery followed by women crying tears of happiness that they now look like Helen Daniels from Neighbours .

( No offence to any hairdressers I know there is skill involved )

Narcissist as an insult for attention seekers.
It's way overused, and the true definition is much darker than pick-me idiot behaviour.

Funny how everyone on social media has known a hundred "narcs" in their lifetime and can accurately diagnose every (usually female) celebrity as one, isn't it?

Calling anyone who disagrees with your life choices a KArEN.
Yes, the Karen accusers always seems to be men on local Facebook groups. I know two salt of the earth lovely Karens but a pair of the most miserable Shirleys but I haven't decided to start calling every misery on the internet a Shirley.

It's so weird

Well I might get flamed even on here for this one but anyway….
Why does anyone despite the fact they may have been a total areshole their entire lives get a free pass the minute they ‘announce’ they have cancer?
I am well aware it’s a horrendous situation but I know someone that flouted every lockdown rule going putting a vulnerable person at risk saying ‘tough tit it’s not my problem’ now they are dying themselves it’s a different story.
6 yrs ago they wouldn’t even have been offered the treatment to try extend their lives.
But it’s now duck cancer and accepting donations all over Facebook now it’s happening to them.

Kind of. Dropshippers advertise things as if they're their own product but they actually just place bulk orders from temu, aliexpress and other websites like that. They are often 5 times the original price of the products you can buy from temu so essentially they are just scamming people. And of course the buyers aren't aware that what they are getting is an overpriced piece of tat from China instead of the advertised product.

I've seen a lot of dropshipping ads using AI for the photos so the products look nothing like the photos.

Some of the obviously fake ads people fall for are ridiculous.

When Facebook decides you are really into a weird niche subject and keeps showing you that.

A few weeks ago Facebook decided that I was super interested in announcements that someone was going to be leaving a band. I must have looked at a post about it for to long. I suddenly was inundated with posts from bands I had never heard of, all announcing that someone had left.

Then Facebook decided I wanted to see posts from strangers about their pets dying. So I got post after post of dead pet announcements.

----

The other thing i am of sick of right now is seeing posts from people who claim that social services have 'kidnapped' their child for no reason.

Sometimes they also seem to think that children are 'taken to order' to supply gay couples, like the council is sending them a catalogue of children in the local area to pick from.

When i see this i assume that the poster has actually done something to justify having kids taken off them, but doesn't want to admit it to themselves. It is very difficult to actually remove a child from a family. It is not done for no reason, and it

I don't think I've ever taken any interest in Owls in my life, but for months Facebook showed me things on the daily about owls. Which led to a video I cannot unsee where you see how long their spindly little legs are.

Traumatised for life now.
