Now add Biscoff ubiquity too
Oh yeah ... I forgot about Biscoff.

I don't mind different flavours but the manufacturers just go nuts and make everything with those flavours. I love a gingerbread latte but when they brought out Gingerbread Doritos last year, I was out.

Waiting in long lines for new product releases, food, etc (unless I have to).

Don't get me wrong, I love food, but I'm not going to voluntarily wait in line on the sidewalk for over an hour just to get an overpriced trendy croissant.

Yeh the only reason I'd queue for food was if I was in a famine or something

Afternoon Tea

£45pp for 2 slices of bread cut into 6, sickly sweet dollops of cream, dry ass scones and tea that's gone cold after 5 minutes.

SATC. Another TV show that didn’t age well. Carrie Bradshaw is a horrible person. It also never made sense how she was supposed to be a broke writer but she owned designer clothes and had a nice apartment.

I've watched back a lot of shows that I loved previously and realised what absolute arseholes most of the characters are. Gilmore Girls is one example. I loved it when I watched it back at uni. Rewatched it last year, hated them all, wanted to throw my remote at the TV half the time.

Same! I did the one at Fortnum & Mason, basically bullied into it by friends. Food was ok, but with the service charge it was £92!! Never again.

Sport.

I just don't really "get" it and there is probably some residue overload from all the sport I had to have on in the background when spending time at my grandparents as a child. My grandad would watch any sport, hours and hours of it. The worst for me was/is any sort of car/motorbike racing. The noise makes me want to cover my ears even now.

The only sport I have any time for at all are things like ice skating, synchronised and a few other gymnastic based ones where it is at least visually impressive/pretty to watch. Horse stuff is okay too because you get the lovely animals but otherwise, I wouldn't be able to have a conversation about sport.

With the World Cup hype really gearing up, I am feeling like a buzzkill :ROFLMAO:

And I was going to ask hehehe where they paid £45 for afternoon tea. I dipped out of going with a group, to an ordinary cafe, when I was told it was £29 with a glass of cheap fizz which I thought was over priced.

Totally agree, and when people say about how you can get refills of whatever. I have a sweet tooth but there's only so much cake/scones you can eat. I'd rather just hVs a nice piece of 1 cake and a coffee. Not to mention how overpriced it is

I don’t have a sweetheart tooth so dislike most of an afternoon tea. I’d be more on board with a savoury one!
