Scotland don't pay for water either which i recently found out. Not that my water bill is one of my main concerns tbh, its fairly low
We do pay for water in Scotland. Its within the council tax so you'll find our CT is higher because the water charge is in there.

Oh well the Scottish person I spoke to obviously doesn't realise as they actually said its free in Scotland 😂
Aye it's not free but it doesn't matter how much you use, you pay a flat rate included in your council tax.

We don’t pay for prescriptions or water in Northern Ireland either. We also still use the old rates system rather than council tax

Cats.....! Terrified of them, since I stroked one once and it sank it's teeth in to my hand and wouldn't let go...

I understand on the wards, but in the offices you can’t turn the heating off or even down, windows wide open and fans on, wearing shorts sleeves in December
I work in a hospital office and my radiator has been off since March and the windows can be opened.

The Irishman 2019

Watched it again last night to see what I'd obviously missed the first time round as everyone says it's so great.
I still couldn't find any evidence of this greatness.
I liked the old people pretending to be young though. I thought that was funny.
I've also read the book twice for the same reason.
I'm a masochist.
My new projector thing was ace though. I could now see even more clearly how not great it was on a big screen.

Having manicures, facials, pedicures, hair cuts...anything where another human being has to touch me or "care" for my appearance. Partly hate being touched by strangers but also feel I'm not worthy of their attention. A spa day would be my idea of hell.

I like having my hair done, but a spa day just strikes me as doing things in public you'd normally only do in the privacy of your own bathroom.

Also I don’t like the thought of my body being scrutinised, with all its moles and crinkly bits!

This kind of viral video attempt. It makes me feel so awkward to watch. Most of the passengers are trying not to give them attention and when they finish there’s barely any clapping 🤣

I'd be livid if I was on a train/tube and this happened, you can see people looking out the windows who clearly don't want to be filmed. Imo things like this should be illegal unless you get consent to put everyone whose face is filmed online. I've said it before but there are so many risks for people who need (for whatever reason) to protect their privacy
