Don't see anything sad about that, they had a discussion about it and wanted to get a ring she liked. My partner would suck at picking out a ring too, I'm glad she shopped for a ring she liked. Not all proposals are surprises, some of them are mutual decisions to make the next step in the relationship.

Totally 100% agree but I do think its a bit lame to then do a pretend proposal on holiday. Like he's doesn't need to ask her they already know they are getting married.

Awwww super chuffed for her getting engaged! He seems like a nice guy (from the absolute nothing that I know about him haha) and she seems so happy! I like how she was open about meeting him on Hinge too, I feel like some women, especially image conscious women, would just stunt and lie about that and say she met him at an art gallery or something.

I watched her how we met q&a and shes changed a lot but in a positive way!! It was refreshing to hear some of her answers, I think he is Persian, came to the UK just before he started uni, from a phonecall with him on a vlog he had an Iranian or maybe it was German as he was in Germany for his younger years accent, doesnt seem like a fuck boy the typical ones she would date before, works for an investment company, into his 30s now, he seems mature which compliments her, so congrats to them both, its nice he doesnt want to be in the vlogs as it shows he isnt after attention which is what she was use to before with boys, beautiful couple

Really, I think this move might have thrown her off her normal everyday, because the house has been sold so must have been something in the works for a while and for someone who does not change anything, it must have been hard

I find it all a bit click bait though. If you were going through something and wanted to keep it private, why post cryptic photos and promise "updates soon" just go off the grid? She posted the Regina chocolates with the caption "if you know, you know".

could she have sold the flat before getting married as financial protection so eg if she sells it during marriage and things quickly go tits up, it becomes like marital asset? but if she sold it before marriage, her money is hers? idk if that's actually true though but the only kind of mental gymnastics i can do for this to make sense..... or she's completely enamoured by him and in rose tinted glasses

Her wording is also so weird. Why not to say "we moved to Lisbon and I'll be going back to London from time to time for my business"? She wants to make it clear that he's the one moving...

So if I understand correctly:

1. They got together and he moved into HER apartment in London.
2. They get engaged and he decides to move to Lisbon before the wedding, so follows him.
3. As a result, she sells HER apartment and closes HER business to follow him.

All I can see here is that she made sacrifices to lift him up and there doesn’t seem to be any reciprocation from his side. I wonder if this guy was truly ready to get married. We don’t know the inner workings of their relationship, but from the outside looking in, it seems rather one-sided.

She could have rented out her place in London and hired other certified professionals to keep her clinic going. Parting ways with all she’s worked so hard for is a bit extreme.

She won’t be an influencer wife. She only has 60K followers on IG and her YouTube glory days are gone. She’s going to regret this.

I don't think she's sold her business, when she her mental health break and was slowly coming back, and before she moved to Portugal, she advertised and ask for any interested health professionals to help with the clinic... whats beyond annoying is is he listed as one of the owners of the clinic on companies House

She said she moved him.in because of covid and lockdown and how they were looking for their own place but then lockdown happened

She morphs herself into whoever she is with, maybe that's why she had a breakdown and had to decide

She does, she also ownes an aesthetics clinic now. Do you know what is weird about her recent videos. She obviously is hinting on wanting to get married very soon. She doesnt like to call her boyfriend her boyfriend but she calls him her partner (because she can't call him her husband yet). She also wants to live near her family. But I thought she already lived close to her mom, now she is regretting buying the house because she wanted to live closer to her new family??? I thought that was kind of weird.

Well she didn't know it exactly but she went ring shopping before the proposal to see which rings made her fingers longer, and she kept her nails groomed because she knew that he would pop the question soon.

So happy for her!!! Just hope they have a solid long term plan with where they’ll be living and such. I reckon they’ll return to the UK to be closer to family but you never know with her husband. He might want to remain in Portugal for longer, which might be really hard for her in the initial postpartum stage
