I followed Chelsea in her old home as I liked that her house was different to the other home accounts I follow, but her new house is just awful!!! It's so cold and stark and her design choices are frankly bizarre! I know it's a reno but I've honestly never been less jealous of a house in my life.

Agreed, it has absolutely no soul. No character. She will spend 2026 filling it with mismatched 'stuff' that's been gifted. And have they fallen out with the bearded bathroom specialist guy? Since her bathroom is still empty

It really is horrible. I get what she’s going for (kind of) but it’s the wrong house for it. She’s blandified a house with historical features for a luxury apartment feeling and it’s so completely wrong. It’s the more money equivalent of buying a 3 bed semi detached and painting it grey and filling it with crushed velvet. She’s Mrs Hinch but with a copy of Vogue in her hand.
Shame as I really like her old house.
I bet her son gets dazzled by all the bright colours when he leaves the house, poor kid.
