My thoughts as someone who has kind of followed their YouTube channel on and off:
- Ned is a dick. If this "consensual relationship" has been going on for a year, he's a huge dickhead. Not only has he broken his marriage, he ruined someone else's. Just dickhead energy.
- Also, I don't understand why someone who is engaged, works closely with her partner, boss and boss's wife would think "oh my boss has asked me out I think ill say yes because that won't ruin everything" - she is more innocent, but still guilty
- I think it's really complex for Ariel, she should kick him out for a few weeks and work on her (if she hasn't already, given she's likely known for about a month). But also the kids, they probably don't want to reveal to their, what 3 and 1 year old, that their dad is trash so they have to continue to work closely together
- The Try Guys made the right choice staring there's no way for them to move forward. Maybe it took three weeks to organise a deal and get someone who actually does HR work involved in the process. Maybe they rushed the decision once it all came out on social media because they had to address it. Given they were already removing Ned from the videos, sounds like they were going down the path of "not anymore"
Overall, a HR and PR nightmare. This will not reflect well on anyone in the team, which is sad for the three that are left because they do some quite good work most of the time.
