I don’t believe this especially after watching a tiktok on it. He was just registered by the owners recently (2022) and the age was self declared by the owner so they could’ve just picked any ageIthis so much!
. Also pics of ‘him’ as a puppy show he had white markings on his legs and muzzle and now they are brown. They did some DNA test that is related to age but can’t be used to predict age.giovanna101

Any border collies owners on here? I've always had them and know the issues they can have, but they been be hard work! My last one, lovely and affectionate, but quite nasty to others, the one I have now, very aloof, not at all affectionate, but good tempered, they are a queer breed, you'd have to have own one to understand!

Of course, duhShe means give him a treat before he is angry so if I have him they come over the give him a treat then ignore him so he will associate people coming over as a good thing. But yes I think I will put him down and ignore him if he does it. Thank you
He also hates brushing which I'm working on but he seems to do well then gets angry hopefully just needs work
my bad, sorry!How old is he? My baby hated being brushed for about the first 6 months we had her but she loves it now. We would give her treats (or bits of her dry food as there's not much she can eat due to her sensitive tummy) while brushing but we'd stop when she'd try get away. I'm not sure how helpful that is, my dog is a lab so very good motivated but if yours isn't, maybe try playing tug with a toy while brushing?

Sorry no help, when my collie was young, I contacted a few places to take him, didn't want to compete or anything, wanted it for fun and him socializing with other dogs, no one bothered to get back to me!I posted this in the other dog thread. Does anyone do agility with their dog? I'm really bad at knowing what to do
Are there any clubs near you that you could take him?
