A trip to the run-free field this morning, 7 laps of the field today  I think she was needing a run 😁

Took my dog to the agility field today and he did good. He got used to going on the off the ground equipment. My agility trainer stopped group sessions due to weather and not having an indoor place during winter. I've messaged on facebook about booking in 1-1 sessions and no reply, although previously she has been bad at relying on there. So I emailed her yesterday and no reply yet but not sure how long to leave it before finding somewhere else to go? Is she ghosting me 🤣 whenever I've been she always praises my dog and says how good he will be at agility and how she loves his personality

Dog has not been herself this week, didn't want breakfast but ate an omelette (chicken & rice wasn't good enough  ) at lunchtime today.
We think her back injury is sore again, noticed that as it nears time for her monthly Librela injection this occurs.
Going to a new field tomorrow morning, if she sprints around I guess she's ok, oh well will find out.
Maybe it's the crap weather lol

@Bobby Chariot how's doggo today?
She's ok, had a wee sprint in field but wasn't too fussed about running, I think she overdid it last week with the 7 laps & felt it this week with a sore back the result.
The field we were at today is really good, immaculately kept.
She's actually very lazy, an early morning walk then one last thing at night is all she wants.

Lovely weekend visiting my parents with our goldie 💛 she was an absolute star and didn’t go near the lake despite having plenty of opportunity. I think she was tired after a big swim in the river yesterday 😅

I'm excited to take my dog back to the agility field tomorrow. Although I'll just be working on the skills I did last week. My trainer still hasn't replied.. I did email a few others, one got back to me but don't offer what I want

Wales to ban Greyhound racing, well done Wales, the amount of deaths & injuries is disgusting.
LBC radio actually had a phone-in hour on the subject, "oh but the dogs love it", no they really do not enjoy being forced to race.

Has anyone used the pets at home joint supplements? I previously got some from my vet but they're so slow with sending them out and my baby always ends up a few days without, we tried Yumove at the start so may just go back to that but looking for other (possibly slightly cheaper) alternatives?

Fantastic news, well done Wales 👏🏻 I hope Scotland will be next to ban it.

Haven't used Yumove sorry, it seems to be well rated though.
To be honest I would compare the ingredients between those & the Pets At Home ones to see if it justifies the price difference.
The ban on Greyhound racing in Scotland comes before Holyrood in April, so fingers crossed.
Anyone who says it's not a cruel sport is deluded, our latest girl is proof of that, totally traumatized, it took the best part of 1 year for her to trust & come out of her shell.
She's now the loveliest pet, they just want a quiet life.

Any border collies owners on here? I've always had them and know the issues they can have, but they been be hard work! My last one, lovely and affectionate, but quite nasty to others, the one I have now, very aloof, not at all affectionate, but good tempered, they are a queer breed, you'd have to have own one to understand!

Our friends had a Collie years ago, yes they need quite a bit of stimulation being a working breed.
The natural herding instinct, wanting to work, I often see them barking at or wanting to chase a cyclist or a car 😁
Big Bird was flying up a field this morning.

Oh look at her go! You've both done wonders with her! Am so glad they've banned racing in Wales, hopefully it'll happen everywhere, I've always thought such a cruel sport.
Yep collies are very strange, he's now lying next to me, not touching, whilst the rugby is on!

She looks for cuddles now, just appears at your side for a rub after her dinner, even lying down now she likes attention but sometimes avoids eye contact, but won't go on the sofa or upstairs.
Still hates the tv and the henry hoover though 😁

Aww that's lovely she's looking for cuddles, bless her. She's obviously happy in her own space, be glad she hasn't sprawled on your bed, yet!
Mine loves the hoover, he goes mad, but in a good way!
Also he doesn't mind tv, especially if England rugby win;)

I wish mine sprawled. She has taken to lying between me and my husband, head on both pillows, me slightly hanging off the bed (I lie close to the edge anyway but now I'm working all my muscles trying to stay on the bed, haha). Husband tells me to move her... I couldn't possibly! She's too comfortable and I'm too soft 😂.

I've said to him that I feel like Diana. There's 3 of us in this marriage!

@Bobby Chariot she looks so happy and contended!

I'm just watching crufts, don't agree with it, but waiting on throwdown! There's a jr in the final, but all the way from Italy?? Saw some agility, nice to see other dogs going for it other than collies! (even though I got one!)
