My friend had a marquee in her parents garden for her wedding, but it was a small marquee and filled the whole garden and her parents made all the food themselves. There were probably 40 people max there which was probably a good thing as we had to use the toilets in the house and there were only 2.

I can’t believe she’s joining a running club where she’s staying!? How can she just be so chill about leaving her newborn baby all the time for a run!? The pic of her putting on her shoes as she was holding him is just odd.

Incredibly strange. And once again shows why adoption leave and maternity leave are different.
Mums 100% need a break and support etc but one of the oddest challenges in those early days is wanting and needing a break, but actually really not wanting to even let your baby go for a second.
Filming herself getting ready for a run with the baby and toddler is just weird. She's clearly not there alone so she has brought the baby over to film while putting her shoes on, someone else could have held the baby. Banging on about mental health miles, joining run clubs, and filming content. I get the feeling she's not that happy with her life, it's all a bit superficial.

That post was so weird, that poor baby. I’d respect her soooo much more if she had logged off for a bit to enjoy her new family rather than creating content which tbh I don’t really feel like anyone cares about! Her life really goes to show that you can have all the money and privilege in the world but still not be content with your lot.
I also wouldn't be surprised if they sold their house to free up money and slightly downsized
Yeah, just bleeping PUT THE BABY DOWN while you’re putting your shoes on. Give it to whoever is holding the camera! Stupid! And also the way she holds him when he’s only a week old (kind of one handed) seems odd. They’re so fragile and special at that age, I used to hold mine close to my chest with 2 arms so their head is fully supported and they are right next to your chest. Feels much more secure and nicer for them.
Why does she need to go to a mums and babies workout class when she is on holiday/in the newborn bubble?
Those classes are generally aimed at post partum mums so very low impact, during the day when mums don't have childcare e.g. dad is at work or to help mums build their community locally.
None of which apply to her.
I'm sure everyone coo'd over her few weeks old baby as mostly they recommend waiting 6 weeks post birth for exercise classes. And she has childcare so could workout solo if she wanted to. And she's going home in a couple of weeks.
Any why does she need a new water bottle!?

Honestly, I think she's taking the piss now! As said above, she doesn't need the "recovery" type workout, she had no need to drag her newborn along as she has child care and the nonsense about not drinking enough? Jesus wept, just an excuse to tag Stanley? I was breast feeding and probably dehydrated 90% of the time during the first few weeks of my kids being born as I was stuck on the sofa under a feeding baby. Plus back in those days people didn't tote water bottles around like some obsession and at best you'd have a sports cap bottle.

She looks so uncomfortable holding Woody- half the challenge of a newborn and night feeds is that you are recovering from the birth and attempting to feed. She has her husband and her in laws helping so when she is moaning that adoption leave isn’t the same as maternity leave she should have a think about how her newborn experience is different. I suspect she’s so entitled she couldn’t even fathom how she’s not got the bad deal
It looked like a gym class that was well beyond her fitness level. She showed very simple banded movements, ie the kind of thing you’d expect to do as part of learning to reconnect your core, breathing etc.
As I’ve said previously I feel incredibly sorry that she has suffered infertility but she keeps maintaining she’s on “mat leave”. No one on mat leave is attending a mum and baby gym class at 10(?) days old, not least because no sane instructor would allow you.
Has she forgotten there’s a new baby around?

Unless the baby is with them? I wish she'd just stay off SM at the minute if I'm honest. Surely she's peeing off loads of mums, who must be her target audience, as her experience of new born/mat leave (as she insists) is so different to most. Even before the baby the amount of travel with a toddler, and self focus on doing races, cheer squad etc is far removed from regular parents.
I'm not surprised, but still disappointed, at Charlie not speaking out about ICE and Trump. Obviously no obligation that she has to, being in the UK, but given how much she plugs running trips to the States, and how much she travels there, her silence is notable. Surely she will have more principles than to continue to fly there for marathons while the state is executing its own citizens?
Why on earth would she or should she comment about ICE, its nothing to do with her. I'm sure she will continue to do marathons and holiday there as will many others, me included.
