And why did Ogilvy have a book with him because he thought he wouldn’t have much to do in the Emergency Department on a bank hol. He is a very odd character. (I understand we are being shown brains/ facts are far from the full skill set).

I’m glad other people can’t stand Santos, she’s so self righteous.

Am up to date with season 2 now, I thought the parts with Dana and the grape victim were so well done. She’s a wonderful character.

I feel like the ICE guy would have been told to remove his mask.

Also, so if you know someone you just get straight in - Mel and her sister, Robbie and his mate? Such care seems taken with realism, and they’re not doing the usual medical soapy storylines, so it just brings me out a bit. But I suppose given it’s solely based in the department they have to bring characters lives into the place so we get a rounder sense of them. But still, niggles a bit.

Yes there are a few bits that I think wouldn't happen, but I am still loving it. I'm so annoyed ' I'm up to date now!

Santos can get in the bin with her moral outrage about Langdon.

I am still really loving it for sure.

Santos is right in everything she said really, but our bias towards the pretty people is strong.

I actually kind of agree with what she is saying and he should have been reported, I think it’s just the way she goes about things. There are very obvious hints dropped at previous trauma ( how she reacts to child abuse/self harm scars on her thighs) so there’s clearly a reason for the way she is but I just don’t like the way she is!

I must be the only person who doesn’t find Landgon at all attractive. His eyes creep me out.

I enjoyed this weeks episode but it needed more Abbott 😉

Indeedy - she is abrasive and hard to warm to and yep, there are reasons we don’t know (yet).

I am not attracted to Langdon but I can see has been cast as the pretty boy and the point being made.

The ICE arrest was a curious flash in the pan. My team mates and I are nowhere near as in the trenches bonded as this lot and we would never have settled from an incident like that (appreciate the difference being that we work on a digital transformation project 😂).

I think the ‘real-time’ versus ‘viewing time’ issue makes Santos look like she’s holding a long-term grudge, when in reality it’s only been a few hours of Langdon’s first shift back and they possibly haven’t actually spent a huge amount of time together.

Roddy was pretty pissed off about him being back too, but because that was at the start of the shift it feels like it happened ages ago.

The weekly drop of the real-time episodes makes it hard to stay fully invested in the various cases. I keep forgetting there’s an abandoned baby as she only gets mentioned every couple of episodes.

That really felt like it had been shoe-horned in to make a political point, and those two guys were overdone cartoon baddies. I get that that was this episodes ‘issue of the week’, but it was a bit clumsy. A bit of a bum note in a show that usually pitches it pretty right.

The ICE situation is completely true to life unfortunately. They really do cover their faces and they really don’t let you tell your family where you are. And people really are terrified of them.

Santos probably does have a point about Langdon, what he did was very serious and most people aren’t cured after one stint of rehab. I still can’t stand her jutting out chin and narky attitude though, she can get in the bin.
