Surprised there isn't a thread already, I'm obsessed with this show. Binged the whole first series in one weekend!
mel is my favourite 🥲 (i love that bryan cranston has a mel keyring and lots of mel merch - it’s so sweet). Why am I only just finding out that Dr Mel is Bryan Cranston's daughter. Bloody love Dr Mel.
I can’t stand her! She just strops about sticking her chin out the whole timeSantos really is a brat isn’t she.
Yes there are a few bits that I think wouldn't happen, but I am still loving it. I'm so annoyed ' I'm up to date now!I feel like the ICE guy would have been told to remove his mask.
Also, so if you know someone you just get straight in - Mel and her sister, Robbie and his mate? Such care seems taken with realism, and they’re not doing the usual medical soapy storylines, so it just brings me out a bit. But I suppose given it’s solely based in the department they have to bring characters lives into the place so we get a rounder sense of them. But still, niggles a bit.
Yeah, that did occur to me tooRobbie isn’t stable enough to take care of a cardboard box never mind a baby.
You should watch a documentary called Class Action Park! Then you’ll definitely never go down one again.I am never ever going down a water slide again.
I couldn’t decide if they were setting that up a bit too obviously: his comment earlier about thinking he’d have a wife & kids by now, & someone (I forget who) saying it wasn’t too late; Dana hugely pushing the kinship adoption thing amongst the staff; that moment at the end where he’s holding her & telling her she’s going to be alright - felt like it was being signposted so massively it’d be visible from space!I wondered the same, but his long hours at the hospital might get in the way.
It was a good season. I must admit I did miss there being a big gnarly event like the shooting in season 1, but I enjoyed the character’s storylines and Robbie is just![]()
