Why is tom making an I stopped fancying April video, including a montage of him and april having fun...

The guy is an idiot, talk about jumping into something so quickly.. now his kids are left without another female figure in their lives because april probably didnt meet his sexual desires

I know of them and I am not a fan. The children do not seem well cared for or well fed and I don't believe their educational or emotional needs are being met. I believe they have little to no medical or dental care. Their house is far to small for them all, they have the bible playing on an audio system all waking hours, I believe.

They are a complete rabbit hole for anyone who is interested. The children are lovely, none of this is their fault and I hope they go on to lead happy lives.

Interested if anyone knows of them from FJ? I used to be on there years ago, am really not a fan of it now, though admittedly I lurk.

Extremely like her. I went through the same thoughts as you thinking it was an old video. It hasn't even been a year since she died and he has moved on. Doesn't seem right to me.

New girlfriend April appears to be really trying very hard to hook Tom. There is no way they simply matched on a dating site. April knows far too much about the family and is pretty creepy. She also sells Pure Romance (sex toys etc) which is an unusual sidejob for a Christian lady. She has a huge home and appears financially secure. It's hard to see why Tom and his brood plus that tiny home would be attractive.

I think he would be just fine with it considering he apparently was addicted to porn. I found that out on a site called the Gossip bakery.personally can't stand the guy.
He was always trying to belittle Andrea.
When she was dying his behaviour was shocking.Making it all about him.And filming her once she had passed was just abhorrent.

I agree that the children need medical and dental care! the dinners are not nutritionally good. In one video where they had spaghetti I know Eden ate at least 6 dinner rolls. Thomas is the only one that appears to be handling Andrea's death the others are not! They need clothing and shoes that fit. The house is filthy. CPS needs to pay a visit.

They all look unwell and unkempt. CPS needs to visit them sooner rather than later before something awful happens.
It's also very concerning that the children all wear the same colour clothes, aren't allowed to mix with anyone else and are forced to listen to sermons 247.
My heart goes out to the children they really need help.

Did anyone see Tom's 'child interview' with Asher... i found it really sad and concerning tbh

I tried but couldn’t make it through. Was too awkward. Though from what I did here, it was a bit concerning that ‘what makes you happy’ was answered with cleaning up and sorting things and Tom says yeah that makes him happy when Asher does that too. Poor kid probably feels like he can only get approval from his dad if he’s constantly looking after the house and kids. Far too much responsibility for a 17 year old. Especially as his lay about father does f all.

Tom Mills (the father) now runs the channel and films the family after the death of Andrea.

I watch him. I never started watching until Andrea got ill in late July of last year. I binge watched. Its just so different with him. I wonder if he’s only doing it for the $ and the things he gets in the mail? I don’t know but I get what you’re saying..,

I started watching Andrea Mills' channel almost from her beginning. I loved her videos. All of them sweet, soothing, positive and uplifting. In fact i started emailing her about things like her dog's skin allergies, and whether or not her kids would be prepared to face the cold cruel world when they had spent their entire childhoods in this idyll. I found her to be smart, and kind and compassionate.

So, a couple of points to be made here.

I find the free jinger forum to be possibly the most appalling set of women i have encountered on the internet, anywhere. Someone else here commented on their being smug and superior. I agree completely. But what they are is completely biased. Very "Karen-y" if you will. Their list of complaints about the Mills is infinite. I am no fan of the father, Tom Mills, nor of his new girlfriend, April. So in my book, if you want to criticize those two? Have at it.

But Andrea? No, that I have no stomach for. She was a small town girl, with little education. She was sexually abused as an adolescent and I believe that triggered her unique need to create a simple, comfortable secure home for her kids, in which she homeschooled, home-churched, cooked and sewed and gardened and organized. She had a phobia about MDs, but quite honestly, given the unparalleled arrogance of that profession, and their all too urgent need to criticize and terrorize people who do not follow their advice, I can understand her aversion (one I do not share). She had 9 healthy babies in 18 years, and they were all well-fed, happy, well-clothed, contented children. They may not meet the rigorous standards of the Karens at Free Jinger, they could all benefit from speech therapy and braces, but given the state of children in this country (with more than 5 million NEWLY DEFINED homeless children since the pandemic started 5 months ago), I'd say Andrea was an over-achiever mom.

When I first started getting seriously upset with the FJ cruelty, i started doing some research into who these people are exactly.

It turns out they formed as an off-shoot of a forum called "Television Without Pity". I was stunned! I used to read those forums about PBS shows like Frontier House, when I wanted to learn about the behind the scenes truth about having to eat mouldy fish. Some moderator over there bought some of the forums, copyrighted them, and turned them into Free Jinger. They are based in AZ, they have about 20 employees, and all of them, and I do mean ALL of them are completely rigid, judgmental, cruel harpies who beat dissenters up until they slink away or are coerced into silent lurking, as I have been.

The bottom line is that the FJ Karens are correct in their criticisms of Tom Mills, Andrea's husband. He IS a pompous, arrogant, narcissistic ass. As stupid as the day is long. His monetization of the channel has gone to his head, and he is now insufferable in his quest to replace Andrea with preferably a sex kitten in her 20's who will be Andrea in every other respect. In other words, a perfect mom who weighs about 150 pounds less than Andrea did. He is finding that goal to be difficult to attain and so we are watching him debate in his head, just how little he is willing to settle for. All the while his children grow more emotionally damaged, neglected and wounded.

FJ has a few Karens who are downright vicious in their attacks on Andrea too. It mystifies me, because the video evidence is there. Their family was lovely 2 years ago. It all fell apart when she died.

One last point: Andrea's step-father, Gary Schelling, did go to prison for sexually molesting a minor. It is not clear if that minor was Andrea or not. His son, Andrea's half brother, Ryan Schelling was also once accused of a similar charge (don't know the specifics), but I don't believe he was tried or served any prison time. Both Gary and Ryan have apparently been clean and sober since and have had no further offenses or charges in the subsequent 24 years. As far as I am concerned, if their families are secure in them being within the family, I will not continue to lambast them.

FJ is fond of painting Andrea Mills as a fascist whackjob. Specifically as relates to a video she made about SandyHook. I won't go in to that here. Suffice it to say she explained WHY she believed what she did. I disagree with her perspective, but I would never call her a deranged fascist.

Ok. That's my 2 cents worth. I will never post on FJ. Those women are blood-thirsty and batshit crazy.

Thank you for this perspective on the Mills family. I had absolutely no idea Tom already girlfriend (ed) up. Andrea won’t be dead a year til about the 19 th. I have never heard of the forum you are referencing. Do you have any details about Toms girlfriend?

What the hell? How have I missed this?
All I see when I watch is videos of him being snappy with the little girls or endless live streams where he talks about how he has no time for anything (except to sit on his arse for two hours talking to people online who kiss his arse)
No wonder April was constantly cleaning that house. The smell must knock you down before you’ve even entered.

Love Mr holier-than-thou being caught out like this. I wonder if he’ll address it.

I desperately worry for Eden. Shes 11 year's old and its a matter of days/weeks before the natural progression into womanhood will begin. I often wonder is Tom educated/comfortable enough to teach his daughter about mensturation..is Eden even aware thats what will happen?. I remember being 12 when my period first started and although educated on the matter and in a household with a mother and older sister.. it was still daunting and embarrassing. (same went for bra shopping!)

I know my heart breaks for Eden in particular. I even remember when Andrea was alive I always felt she treated poor Eden with disdain or something. I feel so sorry for all the children. I remember when April was there she made a real effort with Eden and it was nice that she had a daughter the same age. That would have been brilliant for Eden. I really worry for those kids. I don't watch the channel I haven't since Andrea passed. But I did check in during the April saga. I don't live in the US but I wonder has anyone ever called CPS on them?

The Mills. Wow. Tom is such a piece of work. 9 kids and a selfish father who prioritizes his own romantic endeavors over the need of his kids. Six sons and three daughters, he doesn't get it, he doesn't even try. I think some of the worst aspects of their life that he forces his kids to endure: never ending background noise of Biblical scriptures and Dominionist/Rapture sermons on CDs, and bonus material for bedtime in their bedrooms; Tom denying tutors or extra academic help for his kids after Andrea passed, still delusional thinking that ACE is the only possible "school work" that he will allow his kids to do. It's basically busy work in booklets that repeat the same material from 4th grade to 12th grade. It's so degrading. And he won't allow his older sons to attend community College or try anything new for themselves. Its so unfortunate.

That's really abusive towards the children. CPS need to step in ASAP.
