The Label Lady

I know that I am much too bitter over the label lady but is there any one else running a small cricut label business out there that can afford to do up their whole house and commission a one of a kind splashback from an artist? I just feel during this horrible time splashing money about while having stolen business from other small businesses because of a bigger social media presence is gross

She infuriates me. I too have a cricut and even though I’m cheaper, done a lot of what she’s done before she even ‘created’ it, the baubles I first done 10 yrs ago and am half the price I seem to be missing a major factor...oh I’m not riding off the back of my sister! Yes I too may be bitter but I’m struggling to keep my head above water and you get the likes of her and that bloody screeching nails down a blackboard voice bragging and just generally thinking she’s something special, well it grinds my gears!

I haven’t seen my family for months and last saw my nieces in March !!
How she has the nerve to complain now is making me bloody furious

Wales ad Butlins with all the family.
Hanukkah with her dad and sister ( the kids were there if not her)
Trips to IKEA with her sister and mum
A trip to London taking in the Lego exhibition, with her sister and their 6 kids
A next day repeat trip to London to see the us, kids running around
Family if 5 trip for the Christmas shop
She's been out more than my wheelie bin

As a small business doing similar working my arse off I find it disgusting that she is doing ads.

She is not a small business what don’t these people get

She is taking it in off the back of her sister yet makes out like she worked for it!

How can she be the sole income and afford all they have done since March?

How much did this order cost do you think? Doesn’t she charge like £2 a word? That’s got to be at least £40 of labels at least.

They are shit. Honestly the font is awful, the letter spacing is crap and it doesn’t look as though it’s been spaced or welded properly. Personally this quality of work ends up in my bin as I’d be too embarrassed to send it out

I’ve literally just bought a cricut machine after saving for months for one but I just feel like there’d be no point starting a business because people flock to this woman because of her sister. I’ve been researching prices and materials and was shocked at how much she is overcharging - especially after I’d previously bought some from her (I didn’t realise how overpriced they were as I didn’t really look into it too much before buying)

Tbh it’s tough at the moment as everyone seems to want hers as they think she’s something special as that’s what she portrays. I’ve been doing it a lot longer, am cheaper and a damn site better than hers but I don’t have a sister to keep plugging for the sales.
stick with it though as people will realise there’s cheaper and better out there.

Also anyone else really annoyed that despite having the skills to help the country out (as a nurse) she has spent the entire pandemic selling labels. I’m fairly sure when she went to uni that uni fees would have been free for those studying nursing but she doesn’t even use the skills that the government paid for her to learn. Or help her country out in a crisis. She just sits in her mansion making labels and taking business away from genuinely small businesses that have done this for a lot longer than her

Using the same strategies as Hinch and her sister. Overly emotional photo montage, including your whole family so shoppers feel they are part of your life, over layed with captions including I never believed it could happen, it's all because of you, always follow your dreams. As though likes, messages and affirmations is all it takes and there's no strategic marketing going on in the background, just the magic of those little squares. and soooooo many people fall for it!

I’ve seen an account who is basically ripping off the label lady’s designs. Even her name is very close to the label lady. But we all know that the label lady also doesn’t have an original thought in her brain. And this other lady’s label are much cheaper. I honestly thought she had been going a lot longer than a year coz she had so many followers. So looking back to when Stacey went to hinch’s house to reorganise her cupboards and used the label lady labels it was just her sneaky way of promoting her sisters business to all of her and Hinch’s followers. And now she’s getting gifted things like she’s some sort of influencer. Also I hate when she tells everyone she loves them. She’s morphing into her sister (just a more unattractive version). They are both pricks in my opinion.

I can’t believe she is charging £10 for a few vinyl stickers for Christmas plates. I know many crafters in my local area that do it for less than £10 including the plate. Wish people would support little crafters rather than her monopolising off her sisters following

I prefer the old school label machine that Hinch uses than these over priced ones. I might even buy one in protest! I’d love to know what sugar saw that made him want to invest! Maybe he’s a Stacey Solomon fan and is trying to get an invite to pickle cottage. Her account isn’t a business, I have an Instagram business account, I certainly don’t show my husband with his hands down his pants, my kids admitting to peeing in the garden or showing off that I have a new dog while completely forgetting my old one.

I also have a business account on Instagram and mine has no personal pictures or videos at all, my customers don't care if I have a new dog or if I'm prancing around like an idiot with my sister, in fact 99.9% of my businesses customers don't even know what I look like, so they definitely aren't expecting me to posts videos with a terrible filter on my stories apologising for not being on much. I have no idea why Alan Sugar has invested, it's obvious she sees herself more as an influencer than a business.

I know they say copying is a form of flattery but seriously if she weren’t her sister I’d have her done for stalking.
So Jemma, when are you actually going to stand on your own 2 feet and stop being a letch. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone so desperate for attention in my life and it’s really quite sad.
Oh and it’s my birthday in a few days and I’ll mention it a million friggin times so you all send me lots of gifts that I so obviously deserve.

I really don’t understand why you need labels for the most obvious things. She updates stories a lot and people have plastic tubs for things like pasta and you can see it is pasta.
bathbombs when they’re just in a tub and a tissue holder with the word tissues on it?
are people that simple they need to have names on every product in their home to know what it is? Do they have ‘tv’ on their tv? I just find the whole things quite bizzare

I just dont get the trend of labeling everything. I think i know what is my washing powder, i dont need a friggin label on it!!! I am so baffeled how she manages to make a fortune from something so simple as labeling. Hell you could do it yourself if you really wanted to and still have all your money!
