OUR FIRST DAY IN MEXICO! DOUBLE ROOM TOUR & BROKEN CAMERA!
Oh dear, sounds like the holiday of dreams got off to a bad start. Did Jace the brat get his hands on the camera and smash it up like 'arrison and 'arvey would?
Music to footage of breakfast. Rain. Lazy screeches at the camera. They've taken a few days off camera but today they're moving to their third room of the trip. The first night they were put into a lovely room at the back of the resort. To go to the lobby or pool they'd have to catch a trolley train and that's difficult with the pram. They asked if there was availability to move to a new block so they moved the Inghams to block 1. The air conditioning in this room won't turn off so it's cold at night and the minibar "is broke" (much like the temporary residents) so the drinks are warm.
Oh dear, they can't be happy that all those chocolate bars will be melted. The Inghams asked to move again and they now have availability. The only issue with the new room is there's no interconnecting room.
They're having an amazing time in Mexico and have had time at the beach and pool, watching Jace go down the slides. They can't wait to document the rest of the holiday and putting the cameras away was hard. The girls were upset because they'd have no memories of the first days of the holiday but Lazy told them they'd have memories in their head. Mila cries in the background but no one seems to be rushing to soothe her. The girls have been filming TikToks. They have come to Mexico in hurricane season but were looking forward to it after Dubai. The temperature is 30-35 each day and humidity is 80-90%. The rain showers are refreshing but over within 10 minutes.
Jace wants everyone to see his spider. He trapped his finger in the suitcase and got a blister. Lazy shows us the spider. Isabelle peers around the door and backs away. Jace and Lazy look for the spider every day. Jace says the spider is ginger so called Poppy Ginger. Lazy tells Jace not to touch the spider. Time to get ready and go to the pool. Jace tries to convince Lazy to let him take the spider.
Walk to the pool. Shots of palm trees. They have a shaded hut to sit in. Isabelle has a mask on but it's under her chin. The mosquito bites are worse if not scratched. Isla has the mosquito bites the worst and then gets a reaction.
Mosquito repellent would likely help given the right brand but of course she doesn't matter though so they don't bother. Creepstopher has gone to get more repellent, likely the cheapest bottle. Jace screeches about a spider. Lazy tells us they've tried all mosquito brand but they like Ingham blood.
More rain. Lazy says Creepstopher will be so wet. Lazy feels bad for him because he's gone to the shop to get Isabelle and Lazy sanitary products.
So not repellent like you just said then? Lazy says it will benefit him because they can go in the pool. Lazy blow up inflatables. Jace cracks Lazy up; he got out of the pool, walked over to the sunbed and got on it, Lazy asked what he was doing, he looked at her and was like "I'm going to sleep", laid down and went to sleep. she and Creepstopher used to fight sleep when they were younger but Jace doesn't.
Esme and Isla just got back from the waterpark, where the rides weren't turned on due to the storm so they went to get food. They're having lunch and going back afterwards. They have chicken, sweetcorn and nachos. There were American people (Esme says there are a lot there) behind them so Esme and Isla started talking in American accents because they're really good at them. Esme attempts an accent but it's less than good. They thought they were lucky getting the seats they did but there is a wasps nest, although none have come to bother the Inghams.
Creepstopher told Lazy he was going to swim lengths in the pool to feel healthy and good. Lazy watched him fall backwards into the pool. He put his arm on the side and said he was meant to do that. Everyone was laughing at him. He swam to the other end of the pool, saw the snack pool, jumped out, went back to Lazy and said he was going to get a burger. Lazy cackles at Esme doing her sun cream. it's thick and doesn't rub in, no matter what she does.
Creepstopher films. Just as the weather forecast said, it's 130Β°F, blue skies are out and they need sun cream. They're at the quiet pool away from the waterpark. A bird flies onto the sunbed next to Creepstopher and he tells us the wildlife is incredible. The birds are so cheeky. They're deep in the Riviera Maya jungle and it's stoooooooonin. If you look from the air all you can see is jungle. The birds are amazing with the noises they make. Jace has got the coolest pirate ship inflatable, which Creepstopher thinks they found at the resort but Lazy confirms they brought with them in their overweight bags. It sucks pool water from the bottom and he can squirt it in Lazy's face with the water gun. Creepstopher asks Jace what he does if someone steals his treasure and Jace says he squirts them.
Creepstopher asks "babe" Esme if she's ok. He then checks on Mila. Footage of Jace and Mila. Creepstopher tells Lazy this is definitely the best lilos they've had ever. Jace is crying. Isla says she and Isla figured out there are lots of ways to use the lilos. Lazy sits in the net of the lilo and it starts to sink. She demonstrates how to get into it and provides me with many great screenshots. Jace squirts her with the water gun and Creepstopher says they need to lose the gun tonight. Lazy says the water is in her brain. She then struggles to get off the lilo as Isabelle watched on. Then Jace jumps into her arms off the edge of the pool.
Isabelle just wants to sleep in the pool, not jump around like when she was younger. Creepstopher tells her it's downhill from here.
At least she hasn't got your genes though! Esme attempts to jump on an inflatable but falls into the pool. Isla follows.
Room tour time. Creepstopher films as Lazy is feeding Mila to sleep. There is mess everywhere as they've just moved in but the girls are finished so he shows us their room first. He knocks on the door and shouts hola. Esme lets him in. Christine stars to appear as she says how impressed she is. He leaves the door open. There are two double beds, sofa bed and lilo store. Esme has put all her stuff out on the desk, not taking into consideration that the girls might want to use it as well. She has brought her dyson, Maui and hair clips with her. She has put all her clothes in the drawers. Creepstopher shows us the view. Esme shows us the bathroom. There is a coffee machine in the room.
The girls and Jace walk to dinner. Creepstopher says the place is insanely beautiful at night time. Shows of the restaurant and food. Footage of a show and Mila.
Lazy screeches that they're back in the room. She tells Jace off for scraping the chair across the floor because of the people downstairs. She's glad they moved to theses rooms because when travelling with a baby they usually put you on the ground floor. The first few nights she was woken by chairs scraping across the floor, as was Esme. It's 10pm so early for a holiday. They have to get the kids to bed now. Lazy apologises for the bad quality of the vlog as the camera is broken so they need to go to the mall and see if they can get a new one. Any women coming to a Mexican resort, take sanitary products because they're Β£50 there. Lazy shows us the size of the bag. The 2 products were Β£31 each. Take US $ instead of English money. Lazy will never let it go.
