I honestly will eat any curry other than Thai, I just can't stand coconut anything.

You should try jungle curry/Kaeng Pa.
No coconut just it's a thin curry but quite hot!

I like a mild Curry personally, the local Chinese Take Away does a nice mild curry. I used to get a chicken tikka from the hot food section of Sainsbury's until we went into lockdown. My Mother makes me a curry using the Uncle Bens, medium sauce which is simply delicious.

Love curry! I used to work in an indian as a student so its one my favourite cuisines. Usually go for a vegetable saag or lamb rogan josh. Also enjoy a delicious korma.

Thai curry is great too - thai green or massaman yum!

I read that as I worked as an Indian as a student!

I watched a few you tubes from the Curry Guy a couple of weeks ago and made his curry sauce base - can't say I was impressed though.

This is disappointing after all the work involved. I have never had much look with Indian style recipes so if anyone has any foolproof base recipes please let me know! Looked at Glebe kitchen website they all look delicious

I used to be a Korma gal but I’ve moved up a level to Tikka Masala I don’t LOVE spicy food so I stick to what I know I like. I love curries with a lot of sauce and I find a lot of takeaway curries are mainly veg and no sauce, usually why I always get Masala. I do like butter chicken aswell. And Rogan Josh and veggie samosas. Yummy

Love curry. Hari Ghotra is great and she does cook along videos on Facebook, very good interactive and fun. Highly recommend her recipes.
Live near Luton so spoilt for choice on great curry houses.
Love Sri Lankan food, a takeaway has opened near us, if we cant go to Sri Lanka at least we can eat the food.
Have ordered Akthar@home recently. Meals come chilled you just heat or freeze For later.
Praveen Kumar offers fresh food that you can freeze - great value, and their haggis pakoras are amazing.

Dreaming of dishoom keema pau and black daal now.

I prefer dry tikkas when I get indian, lamb and paneer in particular. At home I do chickpeas in a peanut sauce and it is dreamy.

Do you have a recipe for your chickpea dish? It sounds lovely!!! Is it more satay style?

Any Surrey based curry lovers on here?
Ive just found quite possibly THE most authentic Indian restaurant I've ever been to.
Its not your " Go to the pub for a few then fall into the nearest curry house" kind of place.
Basic decor, fairly small menu, LOTS for vegetarians, open kitchen, 2 sittings, early = 6.30 - 8.30 late 8.30 - close
Its in the michelin guide . .

I went for my birthday last week, when my OH said were going for a curry, ngl, I was a bit pissed off thinking "curry?" We can have a curry anytime cant we?
Fast forward a week and we've already booked to go again . .
