I think madras is probably my favourite! That's what I usually get if we're going to an Indian. I also really love korma too but found they are more hit and miss depending on the restaurant/takeaway.

We got some vindaloo jars of sauce from morrisons a few weeks ago for quite cheap and they were really nice. I did have to add extra chilli to mine though

Love curry. Hari Ghotra is great and she does cook along videos on Facebook, very good interactive and fun. Highly recommend her recipes.
Live near Luton so spoilt for choice on great curry houses.
Love Sri Lankan food, a takeaway has opened near us, if we cant go to Sri Lanka at least we can eat the food.
Have ordered Akthar@home recently. Meals come chilled you just heat or freeze For later.
Praveen Kumar offers fresh food that you can freeze - great value, and their haggis pakoras are amazing.

Hi, I liked it, flavours very authentic. They vary week by week the main curry, so you get a lamb or chicken dish, and loads of accompanying dishes. Lasted 2 of us 3 meals each. Around £70 so great value for Michelin starred cooking!
Breads were very good, instructions for all dishes easy to understand. Off topic but he also does a meat box which was amazing.

Love curry! I used to work in an indian as a student so its one my favourite cuisines. Usually go for a vegetable saag or lamb rogan josh. Also enjoy a delicious korma.

Thai curry is great too - thai green or massaman yum!

I had chicken Dhansak (extra hot) and chicken fried rice last night with some onion bhaji’s…. Oh my days it was heaven

I used to be a Korma gal but I’ve moved up a level to Tikka Masala I don’t LOVE spicy food so I stick to what I know I like. I love curries with a lot of sauce and I find a lot of takeaway curries are mainly veg and no sauce, usually why I always get Masala. I do like butter chicken aswell. And Rogan Josh and veggie samosas. Yummy

Haha no just in an indian restaurant. Im sure Indian people can have many different looks but dont know how convincing I'd be with my light ginger hair and skin so white its basically see through!

I like a biriyani . . I usually request the vegetable curry to have a bit of heat added to it.
The best bit for me though is keeping some of the rice back, heating it through for breakfast and topping it with a runny fried egg. Heaven.
I like most dishes tbh . .
Its great dining with others and all having tastes of everything.
Saying that though, I've also dined with people who pile a whole pilau rice on the plate, dollop the whole dhansak on top and woof through the whole keema naan, no sharesies, no dipping whatsoever

Have a look over their website and menu, its a bit like a tapas of indian dishes. Their cookbook is beautiful to read through as well. The restaurants themselves are really cool, decorated really nicely. Theres often very long queues to eat there. I had a booking once, but there was a 4hr wait for walk-ins The keema pau, black daal and chicken ruby are my favourites

I feel like I’m a bit late to this thread but I’ve finally found my people there’s just nothing better than a curry.
My faves are
Prawn or chicken puri/puree
Chicken dansak/madras/rogan
Peshwari naan
Mushroom rice
Bombay potatoes

Theres a great atmosphere in the restaurants, and theyre run really well in that staff are treated/paid/rewarded well and they also do charity work. Just lovely

Love this the first time I got a curry with my boyfriend was at my house from my usual takeaway and I said the rice is quite a big portion so we can share it, and said let’s have a bit of each other’s main too - I laid the rice and our two dishes out between us on the table, did my usual taking a few spoonfuls of rice, then I put some of my curry on the plate and had a little bit of his. He then picked up the carton of rice and shovelled the entire remaining contents onto his plate, put the whole of his curry on top then said ‘I’ll try yours when I’ve made room’ I was in shock I said I might like some more rice when I’ve had this?? And he was like ‘oh I thought you’d taken what you were going to have’ just didn’t get the concept of sharing and having bits of each other’s at all luckily he does now!!

Try to go with a few of you OR super hungry! I’ve never tried a bad dish. I don’t eat lamb at all but a friend ordered their Sali Boti and encouraged me to try and it is awesome. Their gunpowder potatoes are life changing too!!
