For sure they were already, or the seal the deal was well on its way. I got criticized here for theorizing that. I asked why wouldn't her so-called long-time female friends -- Nat or Marie (or Kat if she was there) -- take her to the hospital? Instead of this new guy living there, even if he was "just a friend." Someone said that's the polite thing to do. The gentlemanly thing to do. Phhhhft. No. It's something else. Someone said Nat and Marie don't know how to drive. Phhhhft. Nat and Marie drive everywhere. So easily debunked.

This explains all the "we" 's and him bringing all his furniture to Lalalande and buying more pieces .

I suspected something romantic while in Tuscany on that sunset hike when Stephanie grabbed the wine and surprised him at the top with it. It was just too intimate for a boss and employee.

Gosh, I am still a bit in shock though that it's really true.

When SJ said "for quite a long time now" I'm guessing the romance began around Christmas or New Year. That hospital scare in March as @Clara Burnett mentioned is a suspected abortion due to an ectopic pregnancy. They went on a few trips after that, starting with a weekend in Dordogne. Then in June, on a side trip from Ten Berghe, that was when BJJ formally introduced his girlfriend to his family.

You could sense he wasn't there just to work for awhile. He was worming a way in. There's more to him than the baby everyone thinks he is.

You could see her falling for it. She edited it all into her videos. All the Emmaus trips and happy conversation. All the DIYs. What a match made in heaven. Indeed.

I date exclusively younger men. That said, my sweet spot is about 15 years difference at the most, but it all depends on the maturity of the man. I won't date guys in their 20's...it's just too young...even when I was in my 20's I wouldn't date them. Because Snorts acts so juvenile, I can't imagine him behaving in a sexual manner. He's just too child like with the giggling and snorting and fawning all over stuffed animals...too much of a 'mommy/son' vibe going on there for me...ew is right.

The only thing that can save our dear Charlatan at this point is for someone more manly who loves Spode, Limoges, and Toile and whispers undying love into her ear to tear her away from her support squirrel- which, is probably not going to happen. Hopefully, the lightbulb will eventually go off, but, alas, the electric is in shambles in the Shitoo, so the lights are quite dim.

I agree 1 million percent! Haworth is so delightful and picture-esque! I feel like Marie is at home there, and has found an amazing set of surrogate parents who have taken her under their wing! I think this is exactly what the lost girl needed, as the transformation of Marie and her attitude speaks volumes! Nikki is incredible- she's really taken to Marie, and treats Marie like a daughter- and whilst Marie was rolling her eyes enroute to pick up a sofa, you can tell she loves Nikki like the mother she's never had.

Aw - that's sweet. Is her mother no longer here? Or did she just not raise her well? Sorry I don't watch her vlogs - after the 1st I wanted to stick my head in the oven

This is what I don’t get! I think her fans are in love with her flightiness and the characters that prop her up. Many super fans may recognize that it is truly a heap in the middle of nowhere.
