It's a strange retirement life for IJ and Percy, isn't it? No doubt IJ is happy about the money SJ is acquiring but, yes, she can no longer control her and must realise what a farce it all is and how SJ lives in fantasy world, exposing herself to a great deal of negative criticism. IJ can't be happy with that. Now, she and Percy, have to watch every single vlog, see how little is being achieved at LL, and sit in on the chat just so they can respond appropriately and also try and shoot down some of the critics. They have money and property and live in a place with a good climate, with servants at their beck and call and could have a peaceful, relaxing time, but really SJ has made them prisoners in their own home in order to support and defend her. Of course, their lives are restricted by Covid but, at their age, they must find the whole LL chaos quite stressful. I wonder if PA knew what he was getting into when he married IJ and acquired a loony stepdaughter. They haven't helped themselves by introducing strange characters like Villiotti and Curtis into the chateau fiasco.
Maybe, instead of being in the customers' room, they will offer her a job at Christie's, then she can move to New York and earn her own money without relying on patrons! That probably wouldn't be good enough for her, she'd prefer to be a rich buyer.
