After a very emotional hand over, I'm a wreck now after crying, Ruby is here, 2 cats no prob the 3rd not impressed at the moment. May be a sleepless night tonight. It's all so exciting for her cats, neighbours, cattle. She's a sweetheart. Also one very happy Mr Spratt.

On a more important note....how was Ruby's first overnight in the Spratt household?

I did sleep downstairs as it was all very traumatic yesterday but Ruby took it like a champ. The moment it was lights out she took herself to bed and that was it until she needed to go out about 3.30am but then settle beack down again.

We've been on a lovely walk, out in the car and she's been very very good.

She's so loving and gentle

So far so good but she badly needs a bath and that's happening tomorrow in case it's a 2 man job.

I wonder how much exactly that they paid for that crazy animal sculpture for the table. Is she going to have it on the table all the time? Where will be its final resting place because it’s so breakable. And how much did it cost? What stupid decisions they make. No heat, no lake, all of that money into the chapel, which isn’t done yet and it’s becoming damp again. Here we call it mildew. And the money keeps getting poured into more freaking porcelain instead of the things they really need. And what about the façade? It looks like hell. And one could say the façade of everything including them. I am really paying attention to how they look and they look more unhealthy all the time. I wonder what it is in that Château that’s doing it. And it seems he is looking even older than she is.
