Jean-Christophe must have been called in to do a bit of overtime (sunset is about 7.30pm) to help move that wasted purchase of a mirror.

Are they just rage baiting at this point?? Every single episode is the same thing - "Hectic Days" of shopping. Non stop shopping. Every day. All day. And when they're not shopping, they're dreaming about shopping, or shopping online. And just for the record, they got ripped off buying the ugliest mirror in the history of mirrors, and it's hilarious that it doesn't fit. Who needs to measure when you have bad taste? I wouldn't even mind the shopping if they bought nice things but everything is just screamingly tacky.

Isn't it just a frankenmirror glued to a barn door though? The chairs are decent enough (albeit superfluous), but that mirror is truly odd; I totally get that you must grab bargains when they come along, but you do need finished rooms to put them in after a while, and it's been quite a while - and it's not like those rooms didn't have furniture before (Chambord, sure...).There comes a time when it turns into luxury hoarding regardless of how much you want everyone to call it "planning ahead".

Comments from people that have visited LaLande (which we hope to do within a couple of years) always say how beautiful the chateau is but the best part is how you all make everyone feel so welcome like they are family. I want to sit in the kitchen and have morning coffee with Marie while she preps a meal or cuts up veggies…and I want to help.

I think we are safe for quite some time. Beyond the Grande Salon and Grande Dining Room, there’s the terrace, the lake/boathouse, the facade repairs, Gerry’s apartment, the library, the future pool, the future natural swimming hole, “Nati’s” apartment, “Ollie’s apartment”, possibly the creation of a grande staircase, the future French formal gardens, …. We have oodles of fun to look forward to!

We can line all the chairs up in the corridors for those guests who have paid the extra premium to wait for their farewell wave. Keep Two Tonnes and Papa Pug off them - we don't want any more broken chair legs. We can use a puppy pad for Ratso to sleep on them when he gets too heavy for PhiPhi bops to hold and the others will be just perfect for piling up more porcelain and copper.

Yes it can be annoying if people suggest things relentlessly…but knowing how utterly exhausting and debilitating sleep deprivation can be i looked for alternative ways, so here goes.🩷
Meds did not help me.
After my TBI I was ‘ warned’ interrupted sleep may affect me. I thought how difficult could that be turns out- very!
Epsom salts in the bath has been mentioned here previously both for anxiety and muscle relaxation that relieves pain etc.

Having a snack of slow release carbs, diet allowing, before trying to sleep can also help. Eg a bowl of porridge or a flapjack.

ASMR videos also really help me, some specifically help with sleep.
Best ones IMO Little me Carmie, Nefertiti ASMR, the ASMR psychologist. Find one that works for you.

Halycyon I think…used to link Rebecca’s ASMR and also SRP .

In any case I am sorry you have to go without sleep , it feels a cruel punishment.

I envy people who can listen to ASMR vids... they set my teeth on edge...all those hushed tones, clicking, rustling, the thought of it now is giving me the colly wobbles. Glad it helps though @Lochness Monster
