This morning we went out to breakfast with people who we haven't socialised with in a very long time. The conversation turned to Facebook and Youtube. She said she watches Chateau Diaries and How To Renovate A Chateau. I thought whacko, this could be an opportunity to open someone's eyes. I told her a smidge about the Tattle forum and how members, through their investigative skills have been able to reveal what a scheming, lying witch Stephanie Jarvis and her family are. I gave her many examples of what they do. She was absolutely agog and has come into the light. 💡

when I say shop too much it is no way obscene or on an industrial scale like Fanny. It is how she has to show it all off too, people say us old hags trolls, are jealous which I find laughable. I find Stephanie gross and I literally can't abide her friends either. I also couldn't live like her, everything unfinished, rooms like building sites. On my renovations I got stuck in straight away and we moved through logically. The people who worked in it have become friends, we all had lunch together, I made an abundance of drinks and snacks and we worked together. The scaffolders told me that they had never been treated so well as apparently normally scaffolders don't get talked to which disgusts me, like the way Fanny treats artisans. We ended up with no cooker etc for a while, our electrician came by and he had made us a Biriyani and our carpenter baked us fairy cakes which made me laugh. We all are still in touch and guess what if something goes wrong people will be at ours in a jiffy, because we paid promptly, let them get on with things, fed them, mucked in when needed and were grateful and interested in them. Our carpenter seriously is one of the most gifted blokes ever and is bloody hilarious.

They're so spoilt they couldn't even be arsed to go on safari on the last morning. This is a dream holiday for most a once in a lifetime-but Fanny couldn't give two shits because she has been 20 times before and really only likes the drinks and the bragging rights. Unfortunately, the only people she can brag to now are her sad you tube following because she literally has no friends left, just desperate hangers on.
Know what you meant and me neither.

When we sold up and moved to France we knew we needed to find work to be able to live here, not being retired or having anyone else to bail us out. We had nothing or no one to fall back on for help if we failed, we came in blind. Luckily Mr Spratt had a transferrable trade and he's gone from strength to strength, of which I am so proud of him. He's currently building a partnership with some of the local communes for plumbing/heating services on rental properties, alongside his other work. We've had to learn another language, that in itself is stressful and hard work. I'm doing a job so far removed from what I did in the UK but it brings in a wage. Many in the UK expected us to return within a year, that was over 16 years ago now. Could you imagine either of those two ever being able to cope with somehting like that, I can't.

Our renovations only got so far as funds would allow, now following the death of my Mum and the sale of her house, we will be in a position to complete it fully and some but I would rather still have my Mum any day.

Neither of them, it seems, have ever known what it is like to seriously have to budget, it's all been handed on a plate. A Safari is not my thing but I appreciate it is a dream for many to experience and the way she is so dismissive about her numerous trips is a real two fingers up at everyone.

They need life to give them a serious wake up call because as it is now, they are so totally removed from reality it's hideous. Even the death's of Mmakhotso Moloi, Ian and Christophe Faye were forgotten in the blink of an eye. I know life goes on but her seemingly total lack of consience, humilty and respect is seriously flawed in every way shape and form. As time goes on I am beginning to think more and more that she does have some sort of psychological problem going on. He is and always has been a spoilt brat without question.

You know an engagement is a sham when the ring is:

1. missing the setting/stone
2. worn on the wrong finger
3. worn on the wrong hand
4. given by a gay man to a straight woman
5. given by a man wearing his mother’s pants

I agree Fanny has changed beyond recognition and combined with old Pubes it is all quite vile to behold. The look the feel of Fanny and her flogs has changed
At the start it was all very homemade and the journey of Fanny learning the process of flogging, plus her huge efforts to get her vlogs up was appreciated by viewers. The background story to purchasing the chateau was a bit intriguing and she garnered sympathy from people. Her was an attractive person who was appeared to have bitten off more than she could chew, struggling with upkeep. Throw into the mix Michael Petherick, who was undoubtedly partly responsible for her huge initial success and the introduction of lots of different characters and it is no wonder that so many folk were interested. At the start she was trying to put out an entertaining vlog. Now she does not care. It is all about getting enough recorded to put out on the vlog to get viewers with minimum effort and input from herself. Her priority is enjoying the spoils. She is so much less likable now - and Phillip - well...

I was surprised to see that golden bedspread again. It used to be in the room her aunt and uncle are in now, but there was an 'accident' and it actually got tit all over it. I'm talking years and years ago, but I doubt it has been properly cleaned since, just wiped.

It looked like three dressing gowns in one vlog: the imitation velvet thing that's meant to be a coat but is definitely more of a bedroom garment; the green and white robe for the massage, and then the awful hooded white thing.
There is certainly more chemistry between Marie and Snorts than between him and Fanny. Interesting that no one back at the chateau has mentioned the engagement or offered congratulations, not Marie; Andi; Amaury, or Natti.
How different Fancy's face looked in Cyril's video which was obviously from very many years ago as he looked young too. I don't know why they keep showing brocante visits. I should think everyone's had their fill of them by now.

Another day, another vlog to keep our dander up. Thank you @ComtesseRose for the new thread, also @YoungAtHeart and @Lady Avonlea for the name and nom.

From the last thread a comment by @Lochness Monster

One of the comments said something to correct another along the lines of her singing was operatta not opera😂. Less skilled.
Why did Fanny say that was the ONE and ONLY performance she was ever in.
Others suggesting Snorts and Fanny should sing together, oh please make this happen, maybe on a gondola 🙄😂

This is what sprang to mind and now I can't get it out of my head. Mr Spratt is also a proud owner of a copy (WTF!) as he is of most awful records that were ever made.

Snorts getting more excuses to shop from Rita Konig

They will be buying lots of antique bed spreads, kanthan, Welsh blankets, quilts and Suzanis

If only Stephanie had watched the Christie’s YT videos and read the articles when Rita Konig was a Tastemaker for one of the London sales, she might have learned a few lessons before creating the absolute maelstrom of horror in New York.

The embarrassment level attached to those vignettes was off the scale.

@ComtesseRose thank you, oh mega star of thread admin!

Dear Marie Wiik,

How much is Philip Janssen paid???
Has he ever been charged for his study/bedroom???
How much are you paid???
Have you ever been charged for a floral studio, at Chateau de Lalande???

Don't waste your opportunity.
Stephanie Jarvis owes you.

Sincerely,
KiKiGee

Thank you @ComtesseRose for the new thread.
Congrats to @YoungAtHeart and @Lady Avonlea for the name and nom.

May I take this opportunity to thank @Pekey for the gondola clip. I haven't worked out my stomach muscles in a while and that hit the spot!

A special bravo to @TorontoGWM for the continuing montages.

And plus... you are all a bunch of witty trolls, witches, witches, hellhounds and menopausal hags. Gawd bless you all for the entertainment 😘😘😘

I have a question for the tattlers that have had covid. Did any of you suffer from brain fog/memory loss, whether mild or serious? I had messaged my primary doctor yesterday with some questions about immunity and Paxlovid’s potential effects on it as this was my first experience with the dreaded rona. Her nurse just called me to ask if I was okay and had I recently suffered a head trauma as I had a very mild case of it two and a half years ago. I have zero memory of it and thought they’d mixed up patients. I pulled up my records and sure enough I had an early variant about a month after a booster. It lasted less than two weeks between diagnosis and testing negative again. Since I didn’t appear to have long covid doc is insisting I come in this morning for cranial imaging. I don’t appear to be having any kind of memory effects currently but I’ve always been a little forgetful so it’s hard to tell.

Very common in post viral. I have ME and my memory has never been the same since I recovered from a virus a few years ago 👎🏻

@MRShavershamsdress I went down with Covid just before Christmas and haven't yet got back to 100% fitness after a few relapses of chronic fatigue, but the worst symptoms were in the first few weeks when I was definitely woolly-headed. Blocked sinuses and zero taste or smell lasted about a month and I still lack concentration , but no memory loss.
