I find it so ironic that Fanny's fanclub are the most mundane and unsophisticated looking people. Not one of them knows how to dress. I assume they are all English and not French. My French mother and grandmother would NEVER be caught dead dressing like this! How come the English living in France don't take a clue how to present themselves? Don't they like the French way? I don't get it.

A note about Fanny flaunting expensive brands: not the French way La Bimbo! Such a wannabe. The French consider it quite uncouth to flaunt brand names. It's considered very bad taste. The whole idea is to look nonchalant with a bit of mystery all the while looking fabulous. I do wish she would hire a French stylist and fill her wardrobe with classic Parisian style clothes. She would only need about 40 garments instead of 40,000.

You know, we really can’t blame Stephanie for the accounting. She’s never been great with numbers. Just too much for her little head to handle. Why, just the other day she was riding in the car with PhiPhi when she turned on the radio. An announcement was made saying there was an accident in South America and 2 Brazilian men were killed. She started crying and asks “How many is a Brazilian?”

I don't know the time line....I do remember when Fanny and Phi came to visit and IJ and PA were in what appeared to be a very beautiful ocean front home...I think Jerry was there too. Anyone remember that time. Then there was another time when Percy took off on his own to SA and I am now wondering if that was medically related. Just said "business".
