In the videos he doesn't seem like he'd be much of a conversationalist ... but back in a live he did with Michael he mentioned the only thing he misses from the UK is the pubs, and it seemed like by that he meant the social life at the pub, so maybe he would be interesting.

Pa is helpful and hard working, but it feels like he's emotionally distant from his kids. I don't sense much warmth and nurturing in that family at all, except for Sadie with all the animals and with Ernest.

No Dan vlog tonight? Wonder why that could be?
Is it just me, or does it seem like he been showing less and less of la lande over the last month? Could be he's working less hours. Though we know he's been there for plenty of meals as we saw him at several in CD.

Same here, haven't watched him for ages, but I'm enjoying the house hunt stuff, he's found a niche I can follow. I love that he's not over reaching in his purchase price and sounds like he has some ideas and knows he needs a plan.

I think MPK or Billy should dedicate a video to Pa Petherick. Talk about his background and life experiences…maybe include some photos from the past. It seems everyone likes Pa…it would get a lot of views and likes, and the video would be a great keepsake for Ernest and Archie to remember their grandfather. Pa seems like a hardworking, no-nonsense kind of guy. He’s of the era where men didn’t really express their feelings…I’m glad that things are slowly changing where that’s concerned.

I do hope my fellow Tattle'nettes forgive me once again for this latest detour. However I believe that in the spirit of our mutual love of France and French history this to be an appropriate post. Here's the link to the most beautifully produced docu-vignette on the life of France's most talented 18th century female portrait artist Elizabeth Vigee Lebrun and the story of her portraits of Marie Antoinette (narrated in proper English!) This is the story of a woman who gained the recognition of the public for her TRUE talent and skills. I really recommend you watch through the end, wonderful production, settings and costumes!

I skipped this week's GAG and I survived!!! Feels a little weird not knowing what went on, but the same thing happens on every GAG so I missed nothing.

South Africa trip: If it was just Stephanie and Snorts but I see so many carrying on as normal, with events and concerts and traveling this entire holiday season. I don't even know what to say anymore. The people who don't care about what's going on are driving those who do care crazy but they don't care, so nothing will change.

Ryan: Yes, Ryan's uncle and family are a good bunch. I wish I could understand Aunty Omm more but I really can't and subtitles were even worse . I do watch sometimes. It will depend on what sort of content Ryan will put out when he returns to France, but I think I've lost all interest in his channel. .

Well I hate to burst the bubble but bottoming on coke is even worse - it's a laxative. I think it'll suffice to say MPK is not one you want to be in bed with
Of gawd here we go...the golden bedspread all over again

I do agree but I imagine filming my days for money would be utterly tiring frankly. You have to turn yourself "on" for the camera and probably retake or get angles right. I really wouldn't enjoy it. I'd be exhausted after December vlogging even with the pre-filmed ones in the summer ,which werent that many ? The creche, the Xmas wine selection, the rum...

But what irritates me is they'll say they need a rest and just start travelling and not really resting.

Exactly! Billy has Michael pegged, and Michael has Billy pegged! They know exactly what’s up…both scammers. They’d scam each other in the blink of an eye if given a chance.

So my boy Ryan wants to buy a self-sufficient property in France.

Always wondered why he couldn’t take his web hosting business further. He always dismisses it as just being for a handful of clients.

Then I thought about it. I pay monthly fees to a ‘web hosting’ business so my parents can get digital tv on a Firestick I gave them.

I did so to stop my dad paying money to a guy from the pub who provides ‘web hosting’ services to a handful of clients.

My son isn't Leo, but he also came via vacuum suction ... pure hell that is.
O yes, but funny story: when pregnant I read in the very first pregnancy book that vacuum sections are usually not practiced very often anymore so in all the other pregnancy guides I skipped the chapter about vs. So when during labor the gyn suddenly suggested the vs, I was like " What? I haven't read anything about it. Can't happen."
After I asked my husband if the vaginal tear was bad (I could not feel anything) and he looked and would not want to tell me to not frighten me. So I insisted and he finally said: " it looks like a huge cauliflower down there". So much for camel toe

oh, my you had him look?!!! wow! I felt the whole experience as I was in a rural hospital that didn't offer epidurals and the spinal the gave me 12 hours before had worn off. 40ish stitches to fix up my cauliflower!

I haven't watch Auntie Omm since her first few videos, just too hard to understand, but I tell you what, I'd eat at her house ANY day! Wish she cooked for me!

Of course I had him look. Wanted him to to feel guilty for the rest of his life
