Just had an hour long treat of David Tennant being a creepy abductor…a 1hr special! Brilliant! He was so horrible in this that even Chris Deakin lost it with him and put the boot in!

I'm wallowing a bit in the series on U&W even though I watched it recently enough but it has a lot of my favourites in it.
I can't settle into the one on U&Drama. I watch single episodes but just give up on others.

I’ve just watched Dave & Jenny’s wedding on U&Drama. I’d forgotten some of the characters but remember when it first aired I preferred the uniform stories to the CID. Loving the 90’s fashion though!

Just watched an episode last night on U&Drama. Smithy being rotten to Luke. Ooh, took a really tragic turn. 😔
I can't summon up interest to watch this particular series constantly. I just pick and choose an odd episode here and there.

I’m watching too. Smithy was horrible before he left and came back

I'm still going back and watching some episodes on U&W even though it's not that long since I saw them. I loved so many of the characters - Gina, Callum, Smithy, Phil, Tony, Reg, Will and more.

I'm finding with the older series being shown on U&Drama that I am sometimes wondering at the end well what happened next. Granted I'm jumping back and forth and skipping some episodes entirely. So that doesn't help. 😁

I think actually they do leave some things unfinished in that particular series. It's not entirely down to me chopping and changing in terms of watching episodes. 😁

I went back recently and watched the end of the final episode, Jack's speech - Respect. It's a fantastic piece of writing and a great piece of acting. I think I remember reading that Simon Rouse said he was genuinely emotional delivering it.

I'm also still re-watching the series on U&W. Gina's departure episode is excellent. Again, the sincerity of the actors makes it very moving. Tony having overheard her talking to Heaton, knowing that she was leaving, and saying she was the best gov. And her last interaction with Smithy - a great scene and very credible.

Are you watching the ones on Drama?
Nick and Cass have just arrived

I'm chopping and changing, not necessarily watching in order. The one I'm on at the mo is The Three Sergeants.

Watched Feet of Clay parts 1 and 2 last weekend on U&W. Had a glance this morning, planning to watch part 3 tonight. And it's not there. It's listed on their schedule. I clicked in briefly and it's a completely different episode, with the name listed as Feet of Clay part 3. Not to worry I found it online. Will be catching up later.

It's the one with the guy whom I think of as Vinny from Corrie. James Gaddas. Wrongfully convicted of murder, in a case that Heaton was involved with, many years earlier.

Watching a Hercule Poirot mystery on tv this evening and who should feature only John Bowler aka Roger Valentine. 😁 Very dapper he looked!

I'm still watching these times. It's currently on the stories where Jo was promoted to sergeant, and is in uniform. I think she is such a great character. She got the team back on side after they were really disgruntled by Callum being suspended. They heard her tearing a strip off Max for criticising them, and they came back onboard with her.

Some good storylines but I really can't stand Max. He is the one character I can't see any redeeming features in at all.

I loved the first episode with Ben and Roz and the pranks
