Although I love Christmas and have nearly finished all my Christmas shopping I do think shops etc should hang back with their Christmas adverts until at least middle/ end of Nov. Everything is so early that as soon as Christmas day is over you never see a Christmas advert or song again even though its still Christmas.

On a happier note The Costa Festive menu is out today

I agree that November doesn't seem like a month in it's own right. I'm sure when I was younger, remembrance Sunday/ poppy day was more of a thing and there wasn't any Christmas decorations in the background then

I don't mind Christmas taking over as such. I still feel Autumnal and we've got bonfire night on Sunday and its my wedding anniversary. I'll admit that I'm thinking of putting some christmas Dec's up alongside my pumpkins.

I'm really annoyed with Costa, they got rid of the maple Hazel syrup early in October when it's still Autumn for the Christmas menu. I love Christmas, but the mapel hazel latte was the best drink they've ever done.

And on Christmas Day you feel so flat and miserable because you’ve been hyped up for two months and then it’s over just like that!

For me Christmas is winter tho not autumn which is why I don’t like the vibe taking over November

I agree! I think pumpkins and autumnal things still hang around more in the US until after Thanksgiving. We need to follow their lead (as we seem to with EVERYTHING ELSE).

Yeah I almost wish we had thanksgiving here (although not to celebrate it with commercialised crap as it’s nothing to do with England really, better be careful what I wish for ) it just seems really cosy and autumnal. November is NOT Christmas season until you start getting towards the end

Agreed. I only got to try it once then it sold out everywhere Imagine my joy when my local one stop Costa machine was doing it there...it tasted vile and nothing like the shop version. I nearly cried

Do Starbucks have their festive range out now? Not seen anything online

I feel a bit like this. Seems we’ve launched straight into Christmas from Halloween, I need a break!

I actually think I was really into spooky season, and I’m really sad it’s over! I’ve surprised myself, I legit never cared before but here I am, wanting to watch Hocus Pocus next year I’m going to go all out for autumn, pumpkins galore over here

I love that it's starting to feel like Christmas, but that is my favourite time of the year. I do however feel that Autum has been forgotten about this year.

I'm starting to feel Christmassy but it's a bit involuntary. I've still got too much pumpkin spice syrup left for autumn to be over.

The weather felt like winter so that didn't help.

I had to travel for work to the southern hemisphere for a month so I feel like my autumn disappeared into thin air.

I didn't even do my annual Practical Magic rewatch.

Had the most gorgeous walk full of autumn colours and had a remembrance service in town. Followed by coffees and warm paninis, perfect autumn day!
