You can put out a statement to the media or give a statement to the court without making multiple tv appearances or it becoming a media circus. Is it difficult to understand the difference? He also could have made a different choice with the court proceedings, as a separate respondent/clamaint (I’ve seen family members listed on different sides in other cases) or joined up with the guardian. He didn’t have to be on Hollie’s side with any of this in court.

I can respect he’s not shared any photos or done many tv appearances, and he can’t stop Hollie from doing so, but I can absolutely criticise him for not speaking up for Archie and for going along with Hollie against the trust and the guardian. His voice still mattered in court, the one place he could have done the right thing for Archie. But I can only assume he wanted the chaotic and unpredictable death and risky move to a hospice that Hollie did. I stand by that he’s still massively let Archie down, just like his mother.

Or he know what she is like and didn't want the backlash from her while dealing with his own grief for his son. she strikes me as a very controlling person.

Hopefully this is the last thread. Probably my last comment as I don't feel there's much left to say. As much as I think her actions have been despicable, there's no doubt Hollie has been egged on by unscrupulous religious groups, the media and her cohorts on Facebook. Today she is a mother...

There's been a few in recent years but I fully agree these cases need to be looked into.

Just reading some comments on these threads and people who have sadly lost their beloved ones and questioning their very painful decisions.

The rubbish about moving him to a hospice should be stopped straightaway by even a mediocre interviewer.
They could say but his parents didn't allow a scan in case moving him for it, was detrimental to him...

I feel for people who have had now deceased family members on ventilators, and will be listening to and reading about the 'bravery and the fight' stuff for weeks.
