Someone explain to me why kayaking was their fault and not the clients for not bringing the right clothes

Celebrating for winning this is like cheering you got kicked in the balls rather than slapped in the face.
Because I don't think they actually told the clients what they'd be doing, so they couldn't plan what sort of things they'd wear for it
(Although saying that I think they were a bit overdramatic about getting wet!)
Nah not buying surprise kayaking no way you have to risk assessment anything dangerous and water is dangerous you have to ask who can swim to do that they would nerd to know what was happening

They were very wet considering that they were promised they were having a luxury experience. If you were bringing kids on a school tour kayaking they'd be bringing a full change of clothes
