Good chat is that. It needs a big change including....

Bigger range of people from all over Britain.

Better vetting of contestants to stop wrong uns getting picked.

Better vetting to avoid fame hungry idiots being picked.

The season hasn't started yet and already there is a black mark against it. He can say sorry but he was still an adult when he posted them thoughts.

You would think with all the bad press the BBC get with different shows and presenters, they would go through social media accounts of contestants before accepting them to be on.
They need to get whatshisname who does the interviews on the vetting panel. The one who checks if they've got patents and goes to their cafes and complains about the service and buys their websites. He'd have the sense to at least glance at their social media.

Sorry super late to the party, but how did Dean get through? He was literally laughing in his interview and talking rubbish  is it more about the business plan at this stage than how they act??

Also agree with a lot of people about Chisola, I was sad to see her go. I don’t understand why they don’t choose people based on their business plan though in the beginning, would make so much more sense!

The business plans get weaker every year. Another van and another engineer and apprentice. You would expect Dean to be pitching that to his bank manager, not to Lord Sugar on a national TV programme. Good luck to him but honestly, is this the best we can do?

I understand why they opened the season the way they did. Its the 20th anniversary and they wanted to make it a bit special. Plus it meant that every contestant got to do the international trip.

But it didn't work. As noted above, the teams were too big, and it's so early that they are clamouring to prove themselves. And Hong Kong might be where Suggz (I like that @glm31) does lots of his business deals, but it's really not set up for a scavenger hunt, everything is so spaced out. There's the language barrier, too. I felt for the poor locals when they had 5 women descend upon them all shouting 'do you speak English'. They spoke enough to be able to shake their heads and then get the hell out of there. I'd probably do the same. Just confirms the obnoxious Brit Abroad stereotype.

I feel like it being massively Christmas themed, means it should have been on TV a week ago.

I'm kind of over Christmas already ... doesn't help that I was back at work today. Bah humbug.

Climate zone. It's depleting. This interview between Mike and Dean is probably the funniest thing on The Apprentice since Pants Man.

Celebrating for winning this is like cheering you got kicked in the balls rather than slapped in the face.
