I used to love the tasks where they had to go to a trade show representing a product, because a bit like the QVC task there would always be one team that missed the point of building rapport with the owner/creator so that you get first dibs.

I also keep getting served clips from the very early series including Ruth Badger in an estate agent task where they had to let flats. Very nostalgic - and a real mix of outfits rather than the GirlBoss aesthetic.

Was that task really that difficult?
The problem was (with editing of course) they all seemed to obsess over one item - dragon head, shrimp paste - instead of being flexible over the other smaller ones like the calligraphy brush and tea cake for eg.
And the women's team missed a massive opportunity at the English school to quiz the woman over various things - what is an erhu? what is a golden pineapple decoration? etc etc.
I am fascinated to know how long the programme can carry on ignoring the concept of the Internet.

Also this task is normally a lot later in the show with smaller teams. Teams of 10 people who don't know each other well and all trying to prove themselves is always going to be a disaster.

Did anyone see Karishma’s Tik Tok after last weeks episode? She spoke about the fact that she’s not even a big gamer. She just knew enough to blag it
It’s nice to see someone switched on (which should be a prerequisite for a candidate!). My son commented last week that it’s rare for someone to get praise (Karen was very complimentary about Karishma) but I guess that’s because it’s rare for anyone to have half a brain and some common sense in this process.

I feel bad (but not that bad) for Chisola as I think she was the strongest candidate, and if it was the old format (hiring a candidate) she would probably win. Jordan, I don’t get the love in for him other than he’s young and deluded - he certainly showed little business acumen when he let every other fucker make the decisions for him, as recently as the week before.

I think the most deserving based on business plans went through. I like Anisa and Dean both so I’m not fussed who wins. Hopefully it’ll be a message to future candidates that you either have a viable business at time of filming or you don’t do what Amber Rose did and get rid of the thing earning you dollar!

She is a beauty brand owner and has her own business called Kishkin.
How refreshing she's a beauty brand owner and hasn't been pressured into feeling she needs to be mega skinny.
She's a gorgeous looking woman.
(Not that that matters or is important I know).

An apprentice thread 🥳

Let’s see if they can top last week. Never in the whole 20 years I gave been watching this show have I seen a set of candidates so badly.
I was embarrassed for them ..

The girls zebra idea is half decent - I don’t know why they don’t combine the zebra / first day at school together. The zebra could earn its stripes through doing activities whilst at school . First assembly , first time playing in the playground , making friends etc

The boys idea speaks of their emotional maturity… 😂

Did anyone else find Amber Rose irrationally irritating?
Irritating yes, irrational no! 😁😆

Imho she came across as Daddy’s Little Princess who had never been told “no” and has always been told how beautiful and clever she is.
I think that’s why she was close to tears in most of her interviews because she wasn’t used to criticism.

Sugar has gone into business with someone who said “If you come into the showroom you’ll be MEETED by me.” He even laughed at him for it.
Are these the best entrepreneurs out there? Do they have an education?

I swear most of these people must be actors because there is no way you can be a business person and be this fucking thick
