Interesting as never heard of anyone having it put in around here (south coast).
I haven't been watching it but I didn't expect to see that result.

Let’s face it, Alan Sugar or his employees read through all the business plans early doors so he always knows which ones need to get to the final. He knew that Dean’s would make more of a profit than the pizzas - plus AC is a growing market especially with global warming and the god damn tit muggy heat we get in this country.
I think Dean's lucky to have made it to the final 5 never mind winning it

I was glad Dean won by the end. I found him very genuine. I know of loads of people who have installed AC in their house in the last 5 years so I think it’s definitely scalable.
I feel for the 3 other people who now have lost their shares in that business, especially his business partner who helped set up the company. That's put Lord Sugar off in the past.
I agree with this AC will definitely be getting a growing market and more people buying them as we will without a doubt have more heatwaves happening.
I think that is the fundamental problem (if you see it as a problem that is) with this format - actually who the best candidate is doesn't win, it is who happens to have the most profitable business plan. Obviously you've got to get through the early tasks but just the knowledge of what the business plan is must be at the back of his mind all the time.
I wanted Anisa to win but can't begrudge Dean winning either. But yet another example of how the current format doesn't work. Anisa was by far the better candidate of the two, but Deano's business a lot easier to make a lot more money. Especially as he's got 'climate control' sorted. Get him to the next COP Inter-governmental Climate Conference!
