Thank you, I don’t do the deliveries very often either it’s typical! 😭. I did wonder if the van had broken down but no excuse not to contact their customers.
I’ve gotten ready to go into a store today, I’ll call them but I don’t think their lines open until 10:00. Debating whether to try do the whole shop & then cancel the online order. Thank you so much.
I've always found them fast to reply on Facebook messenger. It says they're available from 7am on there. I hope you get sorted ASAP!

Thank you so much, I got a call at 08:20 & told it would be delivered within the hour. It wasn’t but alas, it was delivered, just their customer service sucks!
Still have to pop out due some key ‘unavailable’ items! 😭😩🙃.

Feeling incredibly down as I am part of a group of 'friends' where one person in the group always tries to divide and conquer, create drama, turn us against someone else (i happen to like this person). Yet again another event was ruined by the whole thing. At this point it would be easier to completely distance myself but then I'm not exactly overflowing with other friends. I do have other friends but I don't see them as much as the other group. We are a group of 5.

It's gets me so down this time of year seeing everyone having meet ups, nights out with what looks like an amazing bunch of friends and I'm just not as our group is dysfunctional.

Where is the best place in the UK to get breast implants? and which ones would be the most natural looking if anyone has had theirs done. I’ve recently lost quite a bit of weight, I’ve kept my curves through glute focused workouts but I’ve lost my chest completely. Posted in the cosmetic procedures thread but it’s very quiet in there

I can’t really comment on the best but I would avoid silicone, rather go for saline implants
A friend had teardrop implants and the look very natural. If that is the look you are after.
But I would personally caution about getting implants. Do you feel you look out of proportion? Or did you just enjoy having a chest? It might just be a case of getting use to your new body

So I’ve been given an extremely generous gift by somebody at work today (above me but not my manager, paid for by themselves) as a thank you for my hard work. I feel awful as I haven’t bought them anything. I’ve expressed how thankful I am but of course want to buy something in return but I’m a bit socially awkward in this respect (find it so difficult to accept gifts, compliments, generosity and I’m not sure why) so don’t know how to do it/what to say. I thought I’d get them a board game to enjoy at new year (I won’t see them til after christmas now) with their child but wtf do I put on the note? I overthink everything 😬

Just give them a Thank You card saying how grateful you felt that you're hard work has been seen. People like this don't give to get. This person has done it knowing that you wouldn't have had anything for them. And it's clearly a genuine gesture.
I would just want a thank you and maybe a box of nice tinned biscuits, M&S does lovely shortbread biscuits in tins

Sorry

But the police are needed now. Isn't 16 classed as a minor still. 16 is the legal age of consent, but not between a minor and an adult 🤦🏻‍♀️
No, it’s not illegal. Police won’t be interested unless there’s evidence they were sleeping together before she was 16. Extraordinarily hard to prove.

Person I've been seeing for the past 4 months casually let's slip "I've told you about the tickets I've got given to the posh new years do in London, right?" no he hasn't, in fact we've not even talked new year. When I tell him no, his response "oh well I'm not going, I've got no one to go with. I assumed you would be with the child."

I have a child full time, he know I can arrange childcare if I'm told in advance. In fact the night he is saying this, my child is with family..

One way to basically make me feel like I'm not good enough for such events or to be seen with him. Not the first time either. He's in a well paid corporate job, I became unwell and had to give up my career. He wonders why I've started to check out of the situationship. I'm worth more

I'm worth more
You answered your own question.
If you want to go, tell him. If you want it to be more, also tell him. Otherwise tell him that no, he has no one to go with. And the reason is that he’s happily using you to satiate his physical needs but is actually a lonely guy whereas you have your family and you’re not prepared to be there for him any more.

Parents of teenagers please help! My 14 year old daughter has arranged to sleepover at her friend's house Sunday evening, but I'm not sure on the etiquette, do I need the friend's parent's phone number? Do I just let my teen get on with it? They are organising it over WhatsApp. I know where the house is and who the girl is, but no idea on the parents. Never met them.

She hasn't been to a sleepover since she was in year 5 and she's year 10 now so I've no idea how these things work 😬

I recently had some of my son's 14/15-year-old friends stay the night. Out of 7 of them, only two of the mums checked in with me that it was ok. I obviously had no issue with any of them staying, but I was surprised that the parents didn't message me, as I would want to know exactly where my child was (at 14, I was off clubbing in London doing all sorts, so I don't trust teens ).

If it were me, I would get the mum's number and ping her a little message, thanking her for having your daughter stay the night or something along those lines.

Ah thanks for replying. Did your son's friends ask for your number or did their parents already have it? Wow you had 7 of them 😳 lol

The dreaded school WhatsApp group, so most of us are easy to find. But my son has asked if he can pass my number on to his friend's parents before, and I'm always happy about this as it's good to have.

Yes, 7. Never again. :ROFLMAO: I'm a house-proud, OCD, clean freak, but I wanted him to have fun. It turns out that despite my son being a complete slob, he turned into me and couldn't relax or enjoy himself as they were all so wild. I don't think he'll be suggesting it again in a hurry.

Absolutely get their number and ask them to let you know if there are any issues. God forbid something happens to her and they can’t contact you.

My ex-wife is in a new relationship, but it's a secret relationship as the other person is from overseas and for religious reasons can't be in a relationship. I worry for my ex as it feels like it will all end in tears. We coparent so I'm still part of their life, and I can see the relationship is beginning to affect her. I feel that as an ex its not my responsibility to worry about her personal life, but I'm keen for her to be happy and this situation feels off. I don't think she'll pay attention to anything I might say about it. So what do I do?

It sounds like your relationship is amicable so just mention that you are a bit concerned and leave it at that. I agree you shouldn’t get too involved as you might end up getting burned as the messenger.
Does your ex have any other family or friends she might listen to? You could potentially enlist their help

What do people use for itchy scars? It's a new scar. And how to improve the appearance of it? Tad self conscious of how visible it is

Egyptian magic is very good. They do a tiny 7ml pot that lasted me ages.

Bio-Oil might be a good shout.
