I might get a booster cushion and send that. They do have rather small cars. I honestly thinking just don't trust other people. I'm sure it will be fine , the family are more than capable of driving.
It’s against the law bit to use a seat until 135cm or 12yrs. I don’t think it’s unreasonable. If they won't accept it, I’d drive them myself.
I don’t like the instant coffee at work (it’s Nescafé gold blend!) I normally buy the sachets but sometimes I just want a black coffee.
I really like Kenco brand and want to buy their instant coffee but can’t decide between smooth or rich. What does everyone suggest? I don’t mind buying another brand if there’s a better one out there than kenco? I’m in the uk too x

Personal choice if you like it strong or bitter or smooth or caramel-y.
Douwe Egberts is a popular choice but it makes me feel a bit sick as I find it strong. I'd look at the reviews on the online supermarket websites for one that suits your tastes.
I’m a coffee snob & I like L’or Intense. I mix in a latte sachet, some of that to save money on take out coffee. 
I think the Aldi Colombian blend is amazing - so much better than the Nescafé types
Percol instant is really nice.
I like the azera if it’s on offer and like some one else said douwe egberts.
I have an issue with a credit card I used for vacation purposes.
I made two transfers from my current account to my credit card account to clear the balance. The transactions were fully processed but the credit card balance still remains the same and didn’t reduce at all.
Additionally, I had set up a monthly direct debit 2 months ago to make minimum payments on the card and the direct debit never took place. I’m assuming it’s because I made prior manual transfers with amounts greater than the minimum payment but still.
Has anyone ever experienced this issue? No transactions were made in the meantime.

How did you make the transfers? Did you do it manually inputting the details yourself or did the bank pre fill it?
I would call the credit card company with all the details, it may be sitting as pending if they have been unable to allocate it.
I'm not sure if that would affect it, the direct debit should still come out. I have a regular direct debit coming out to my credit card (over the minimum) but I paid an extra lump off as I got a payment from my pet insurance, and the direct debit has still come out also.
As the above poster has said - are all the payment details correct?
Your best bet is to sep up a standing order
Yes, they’re all correct because it was set up directly through my online banking during the application process. There was no manual input required. The credit card was through the same bank as my current account, not with a different financial institution. This is why I don’t understand the issue if all is managed within the same bank.
Basically, when you apply for the card online, it asks how much of the card balance want to repay through direct debit each month from your current account and it’s just a case of selecting the %.
It’s really odd. It should have come out last week and it hasn’t to this day.
Speak to the bank, it may well be a simple admin error their end.
I did. It’s sorted. They said that if early payment is made, the direct debit doesn’t come out.

On another note - does anyone have chronic issues with UPS claiming they attempted to deliver a package when they never did? I was at home today and can 100% attest no one ever came to the door at the time they claim they did. Every delivery with them is an absolute nightmare and calls to customer service does nothing.
Our regular post guy who isn’t ups says the evening people cba and lie about attempting delivery so this may be the case here too.
UPS where I am only turn up if they have a lot of deliveries as the depot is so far away. Often they scan items through the day claiming to have tried to make a delivery but haven’t to take to depot. They’re so awful if someone says they use them for delivery unless it’s literally the only option and emergency I won’t use them same goes for parcelforce.
Does anyone compare themselves to others? And if you had a friend who said they’re not comparing themselves to others anymore would you assume they think they’re better than others and self righteous. I have a friend who does this constantly and such a negative way of thinking. I’ve told her I don’t want to engage in those types of conversations anymore where put self down and now she thinks I think I’m better than her?! I’m just trying to be kinder to myself so I make better choices
