They are neutered- we got them from a rescue who neuter before rehoming- Neutered Toms will still defend their territory
The stray/ new cat probably isn’t but if it owned my the neighbour I think might own him- he is careless with his animals ( dogs chase livestock etc, not chipped ) so I doubt he will give cat any attention
Or if somehow you can capture the cat take it to the vets. If it's unlikely to be neutered then may also not be chipped, might be a stray anyway so therefore helping it have a better life 🤷‍♀️. Some rescues will give cat traps out to help catch them

Any advice on prickly heat? Or that’s what I think it is…
I already take antihistamines for hay fever and my limbs are insanely itchy as soon as it gets above 22 degrees.

I don’t know if I’m overthinking this but the dentist office I am a patient at always sends me emails starting with ‘Hi There’ instead of ‘Hi Name’. It’s making me think they won’t use my first name because it’s foreign sounding. I find the ‘Hey there’ from a business to be unprofessional.

Not a problem as such but need to buy a birthday gift for a 1 yr old - neighbour’s child. Spend would be £30 quid. What do you suggest?

I had this toy as a toddler and loved it, honestly can still remember it! Bought it recently for a family members toddler and he also loved it. To the fact it made some people a bit cross because he wanted to play with my toy and not the expensive toy they bought him 😂
And if you want to get more maybe aomething like bath books and a nice blanket. I gave a friend some lovely blankets from M&S for her baby and they loved it

I got my neice one of those water pen drawing things, it's like a mat an then you can fill the little pen with water and they can draw all over it, it's no mess which was perfect, she was quite happy sitting for ages just drawing all over the mat, pretty sure the one I got come with stamps too

I also got her a water mat that had little fish things inside it, you filled it with water and she could hit on it an move the little fish

I guess it would be depending on the child but kinetic sand was another thing she did an still does enjoy, however she's never left unsupervised with it, at age one she just loved squeezing it an now at 3 she loves to make things with it so it's done quite a while, play doh as well was another hit, but it depends on if you feel the kid is still too young for them

Sounds like it’s preset copy and paste rather than a person writing individually. Alternativky I dislike when they use my name, I think it’s unprofessional vs Dear Miss/Mrs. Perhaps it’s to avoid that or to just sound more familiar.
I can’t imagine they go through the records and avoid using the first name of anyone foreign sounding.

@House of Tea - Playdoh, simple jigsaws, mega blocks. instruments are all good at 1 but your budget is quite big for that age. You could get a personalised name jigsaw or name train from Etsy. If the name is long and therefore more expensive you can get lovely wooden Noah’s Arks or safari busses.

How do you cope when a parent is in and out of hospital with heart issues? Last surgery was a close call and mum almost died. She's been home 2 weeks maybe and been readmitted. I feel like I'm close to a mental breakdown. So genuinely, please, any stress management techniques are welcome

Sorry to hear, could there be any help groups in the area? Or any meet up groups where others are going through similar circumstances an you could meet for a coffee? Sometimes just chatting with someone who's going through the same might help, sometimes these groups post on FB or you could maybe see if there's anything posted locally

That's what I do at my work, we have all the clients emails on the system, I write a generic email out an then copy an paste everyone's email an send it through bcc, it would take hours sending emails one by one if I was having to type names

@Pixiecow

I have an update for you!
My licence had been expired longer than yours. I applied for the new one online on Tuesday or Wednesday - can’t rememher. Paid the £14 fee.
Just received my new one in the post!

Unfortunately I still look like an Eastern European terrorist from the 1970s in my photo, but at least I’ve now got a valid licence and did not get in trouble.
