With the news about a North American tour next year, I’m thinking a new single & album roll out is imminent, possibly an autumn single release, with an album dropping early 2027! Previous eras BBC radio 1 has had first dibs on the first single play. Wonder if it’ll be the same this time.

Nah he’s good, just keeps himself to himself these days, not much of an online presence, & barely in the public eye (apart from the wedding of course!) the new album has been ready & good to go for months by all accounts, so probably just chilling & enjoying married life before the whole work cycle starts again, album roll out, press, touring.

I was seeing some things on reddit yesterday. People are really angry she’s basically monetising the bachelorette aren’t they? Saying it’s everything they go against and she’s basically only ‘known’ because of her association to him.
I see what they mean, but like you say - from the very little I’ve seen, she seems a decent match for him in a lot of ways. Seems a better match than Taylor anyway

He’s replied to someone else saying he won’t remove what should I say.
I like what should I say, not arsed about human too - but it’s interesting. People are saying that once it’s released, it should belong to the fans, particularly when it’s three years old like this album! Which I do get, music is ultimately made for sharing and its ability to mean different things to different people.
But honestly (and I say this knowing that if this must be my dream gets removed, I will lose my mind), part of me also likes the idea that Matty is still invested in previous albums. It’s not like ‘oh we released it and yeah it was fine but it’s done now innit’
