I think it's because there were no more shifts available for her. At least that's what she said if I recall correctly. I know she was only going back for the Covid period so I suppose when not as many people were in the hospital she wasn't needed for those shifts.

The Irish govt put out a call specifically for COVID19 and what they believed could be a huge surge in hospital admissions - it was for retired nurses and doctors or any medical students with the right experience and qualifications to join/rejoin the Irish health service. It was on a temporary basis and only until the 'peak' had passed. I don't think she would have only been working with COVID patients at all - also lots of people responded and did the same thing as her.

You would think, but she basically said on georgies podcast that she said she would only go back to work with covid and so when they didn't need her she stopped.

The dog situation....who in their right mind shares a dog? Unless you and an ex had a pet and both want to see it I suppose. But even then, one person should be "sole owner", and the other person can visit? It's completely unfair. Pets need stability and to know where their home/territory is...
