Really bad response from Stellar. They just continued to ignore it yesterday. The editor was so arrogant about it. She disappeared off Instagram for a day and reappeared posting a picture of flowers from the husband as if she was the victim.

Really poor response. It's as if they dont care, oh wait they don't.
It's an insult to both poc and front line workers. It is bad timing to publish a white cover then talk about racism, as if they know about it. If they really couldn't find any black Irish poc, why not a plain black cover?

The front line angle is current and I have nothing against terrie, but if they had other front line workers on it and made it about Irelands call, how well these workers did for us, that would be something. The argument that the cover is planned for months - how long is terrie back working? If they plan it for months the team *cough* editor must spend months going through her recently dialled. Because it all of her mates featured.

She must feel zero responsibility towards her patients... Off on another trip putting herself and the people she enteracts with in the hospital at a huge risk she really does not give a flying fuck and the whole trip is prob paid for. There has to be some form of medical ethics she is breaking. I would hate if God forbid one of my family members ended up in hospital and she was the nurse... Knowing that she is up and down the country because she is such a spoiled brat and can't just stay at home for one weekend. I would actually ask the doctor or whoever is in charge of her not to be treating my family member I think it is so irresponsible of her as a medical professional to be doing this and then all the other amazing nurses all over this country who are working so hard and not travelling or even meeting with family. U Terrie are the opposite of a caring nurse!! Shame of you

God knows! She “fostered” a dog at Christmas and then gave him back cause her life was too hectic for a dog and then suddenly we hit the worst pandemic in living memory and off she trots for a dog again to flaunt over her Instagram.
Seriously negligent of the rescue to allow her to adopt a dog during lockdown. What sort of message does that send to people about responsible dog ownership with her tagging the rescue left right and centre. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was #gifted for a bit of PR for the rescue.
I cancelled my donation to them and redirected it to another charity. Any rescue that allows a dog to be adopted during a pandemic and don’t consider how the message around responsible dog ownership is perceived by her followers isn’t working in the best interests of the dogs in my opinion.

They know they were in the wrong, but the pure need for validation and attention online from posting on Instagram still outweighs any shame they may feel about doing it. The Grayson have said they were moved out side after 2 hours and stayed outside in a well ventilated area and it was only just 2/3 of them no? That's not the point. Yes lots of people are doing it, but they shouldn't be. It's a loophole to the guidelines and completely defeating the purpose. The fact that she's sharing this to an audience of 160k will lead people to believe it's ok, or give them ideas to do it.

Sorry so you’re saying that as a medical professional I do not have a right to go on a staycation? Especially when the rest of the country are travelling up and down, which there is absolutely no rule against. Aswell as the people travelling abroad. I think after the last few months I’ve been through personally I would be well within my rights, as is the rest of Ireland, to go up and down the country on a holiday with my partner and follow all guidelines and I would be breaking absolutely no ‘form of medical ethics’ in doing so. Give it a rest. Us healthcare professionals are probably the most safe and cautious in these situations. Do not paint us all with the same brush. Perhaps worry about those swanning off to Ibiza and focus on the ‘ethics’ that they are breaking. Feel seriously disappointed and hurt at that statement, especially after all I have done for this country since march, having worked on a covid ward since. I do have a life outside of my job as should every other hcp.
