As someone who actually has PMDD and just thought I was just a nutcase for ages (the su!c!d…. Ideation was HUGE and I ended up in hospital because of it which is how I got a diagnosis because I then tracked it for A VERY LONG TIME) it worries me she is just flippantly saying she has it. It’s not diagnosable by a blood test so you have to keep track of things for a few months and rule out other contributing factors (like are you just tired from having a baby etc) and check hormone levels etc. I had to go on a progesterone only pill and it’s literally changed my life but I went through hell and back first.
In feel for anyone who has PmDd or is late diagnosed ASD/ADHD - I was late diagnosed ASD but very early ADHD and it’s changed my life knowing again I’m not crazy my brain is just different. It grinds my gears where people use it in the wrong context or do it for clout - I am glad there is awareness now but it’s not a trend. I’d do anything to live a “normal” life whatever that may be
