There’ll be a poll. Would you like me to (a) announce his name on the 9 O’clock news or (b) would you prefer a reel or (c) do you give a duck.

Answer C … I don’t give a foooook!

A few ‘newborn photographers’ dm’d her but she’s lost their details. Well, that’s a different take on the standard begging, I suppose.

Why does she think people are so invested in what Jamie thinks or does. Like who cares if Jamie came in for cuddles during the night. Her only friend is her phone....and that birthing pool shot....craves attention.

I think these are all good calls, I'd say Teddy and Charlie are strong contenders. She likes the y/ie so maybe Ollie?
Yeah, Ollie is a definite possibility. I'm adding Danny and Zachary (Zach) to my previous list.

Maybe she'll shock us and go for something that doesn't end in y/ie. If so, it'll be something like Alex which she will think is very original, but every second child is called that these days.

I’m sticking with Redknapp…Harry and Jamie and Redknapp. Boom 💥
Or might she go William [Willie/Willy] so she will have a William and a Harry.

I don’t understand the whole ‘only staying in bed’ thing. Even having parents come and sit in the bed. Surely you can pop downstairs with him for a couple of hours. I bet the room smells musty with being in those sheets 23hrs a day let alone eating in them

I actually totally get it. I didn't do it with mine, but I think it's a great idea to help recovery after birth and to establish breastfeeding. I might disagree with Sarah about everything else, but I'm with her on this. Have heard great things about it from other mothers.

Fair enough. Just seems extremely unhygienic and maybe I’m weird but I’m not having my parents in/on my bed. I would just pop downstairs for the hour or two they were there.
I totally get being in your bubble, staying home and getting into your breast feeding groove, but sticking to a bedroom most of that time just makes me itch

Ah yeah, far from her usual notions.

I remember a Chinese girl I worked with thought it was mad women here would be expected to be up and about after a few days, she reckoned it was the reason so many Irish women ended up needing hip replacements later in life. 😅

Surprised we didn't hear some horror story about perfectly normal treatment by the "medical community" after the hospital trip.

I wish I could of done it but I just couldn't for some reason I was always mad to get out of the house especially on my first, now by baby 3 I'd copped on a bit and did lay low for at least 4 weeks but not in the bed, on the couch with the TV! I'd be bored stiff in my bedroom. And thankfully by the time your on your 3rd kid you get very little visitors.
the amount of visitors I had on my first was nuts and half the time you would end up making them tea and feeding them 🤯.
