Stuck in a rut

Does anyone else just feel stuck in a rut constantly? I just feel like I am all the time. I know this is pretty woe me and I just need to get my a in gear but I need to get it out.
I feel so stuck about my weight. I’ve put on about a stone since covid but can’t shift it. I’ve tried everything ( and I mean everything) from slimming world to shakes. I know it’s a motivation thing but I just don’t seem to have any. I’ve set myself some short time goals but I just need my head to click to get me there. Any advice?

Do you like a walk/dance? I loved joining in woth ‘Get fit with rick’ on youtube, its described as a walking work out. I want to get back on the wagon of doing it everyday that im not at work iwhen my kids are at school. I always felt much happier and bright after i had completed one.

This 👏 I feel the same! I’m “frontline” and I’m burnt out. Fed up, large and full of misery at times!

For me, super short term goals, even daily goals really help to claw myself back to normality. I downloaded a habit tracker, something as simple as eating fruit, drinking water, reflect on 3 positives things from the day.

I came to realise no-one but me can get out of this rut! It doesn’t happen overnight, it’s tiny consistent actions that will. Hope you feel better soon xxx
